The week I put this on I had a pipe burst above my man cave. A significant amount of water flooded the top of my pool table but luckily I had bought this cover. Crazy bc I went 2 years without a cover lol. The cover fit great. If you’re reading this then you need one anyway. Just buy it

    • Great dust cover
After reading reviews, I had mixed feeling about getting this, or any cover. Our table is in a sun room and dust is the only thing I am really worried about. Size was perfect for a 9 foot table. It lays flat after warming up a few times to get the folds out, and come on - who really expects a cover to be flat out of the folded shipping box? Yes, it does have seams running along the long side where material was added. Again, I don't expect a company to have bolts of material made in a large size they would need to cut down and lose on for smaller width tables. Honestly, if you leave the table out in the elements and expect a frugal cover to prevent water from penetrating the seams, you kinda deserve a damaged table. I am sure the material is waterproof, but seams? Buy something expensive, or seal the seams yourself, or protect your darn table from the elements! ... show more

Only 4 stars because cat nails go through the fabric with ease. Not kneading marks just jumping on and off marks... It fits well for my 8ft table but I can see cat nail puncture marks on the felt already. Luckily I have not replaced the felt in years. Part of why I bought this item is because one of the photos shows a cat swan diving on the table and this should protect against it. Well.... that came up very short. ... show more

This cover is covering a new pool table that I bought online(not from Amazon though). The cover is very nice, and heavy material. Mainly bought it because my table is in the basement, and it was never meant to be a (Finished Basement, so there’s wiring, wood beam supports and stuff like that in there. So there is a good potential for dust and dirt to get on it. Look into this product if you want to protect your table at an affordable price!!! ... show more

It fits the table and keeps animal hair off. Probably water proof if it was durable but with cat claws that made tiny holes… I would not try testing with water.
