Bought this cabinet because it was small with a beveled edge. Most frameless mirrors in this size range don't come with that feature; it's a finishing touch that adds a bit of polish to a rather simple mirror. The mirrored interior and glass shelves add to that polish. I didn't run into any of the issues mentioned in other reviews. When initially installed, the door sat a little proud. Adjusted one of the hinges and it was fine. Shelf pegs fit too. The plastic used on the frame and interior is really plasticky. A different color or finish or both would be welcome (or maybe more aluminum like the inside). When I took it out the box, the plastic jumped out at me but I rarely notice it during use. If you're replacing an existing recessed mirror like I was, note the size of the cabinet. The cabinet for this mirror was quite a bit larger than the one it replaced despite having the same finished size (15x26). Took some extra demo. The glass shelves are 3" deep by 12-7/8"wide Items about 3-1/2" deep can clear the door. I'm able to store a Waterpik in it. Although imperfect, I highly recommend this mirror sized for small spaces. It looks good and is well made. The tactile feel of the interior plastic is the biggest downside. ... show more

I like the clean look and height of this cabinet, however, it has only two glass shelves and only 6 clips provided so you can only install one shelf. The contractor has installed so I will keep and hopefully be able to order additional clips to add another shelf. — Update— Good news! I contacted Kohler through their website and they are sending a package of 8 clips at no charge. Great Customer Service! They did give me the part number to order an additional set of shelves. I wish the original order contained three glass shelves rather than two, especially since this is a taller cabinet than the standard size. That is my only disappointment. ... show more

    • Great Cabinet for the Price
I purchased two of these medicine cabinets for my bathrooms that did not have medicine cabinets. I purchased the KOHLER brand because they have a wonderful reputation for long lasting quality and all my sinks and toilets are KOHLER. These cabinets did not disappoint, as they are very well made and can be mounted inside your wall or hung outside the wall. I was looking for something easy to install myself and opted to hang them on the wall. Most IMPORTANTLY, you must find studs to screw the brackets into and use a leveler and stud finder to hang the cabinet straight. An iPhone leveler will NOT work, as they are slightly off. I used a three dollar leveler and an inexpensive stud finder (bought from Amazon) which worked perfectly. It took me about 30 mins to install each cabinet. I love these cabinets. They look great, as they are nicely mirrored on the outside and inside. Highly recommend ! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Replaced the tired bathroom mirror with a black framed one. Then it was time to replace the tired 37 year old cheap medicine cabinet. This beveled Kohler one was an elegant match, mirrored surfaces and polished aluminum. To accent it more I also framed it in black and it really popped. This was a great buy and upgraded the entire look of a small bathroom. Very happy with the result. Only one complaint, after using a few days I was annoyed by the very strong self closing door which slammed it shut too hard for my liking. A simple Blum 971A9700 single screw soft-close damper solved that problem. Don't know why Kohler doesn't include a soft close hinge or damper for this high-end product like they did for my shower doors. For an extra $5 USD it now closes like I would expect from high-end modern cabinet door. ... show more
