My cat sadly won't eat any of the meats unless mixed with Fancy Feast. She will drink the broths with no problem but refuses the meat. It looks appealing by human standards but that doesn't translate into appealing for cats. I'm still on the hunt for a Fancy Feast grilled and flaked replacement. Sadly this brand isn't it. Maybe I'll return to it when my cat is officially off Fancy Feast. Update 12/14/23 I just came to the realization that my girl just doesn't like chicken. Given that this is all chicken it makes sense that she didn't eat any of the food. It's still a really good, fairly affordable buy. I'd recommend it to others. Good ingredients, somewhat excessively priced, wanted to slowly introduce to my cats rotation. Alas, they are only fond of pate foods, so although they licked the gravy, they did not eat the shreds. We live out in the country and people will occasionally drop cats off in our area that they don't want anymore. Because of this we feed them and provide some outdoor shelters for them to take refuge in from the weather. I got this to give to the cats and so far they've enjoyed most of the flavors. My cats do not like this brand. I got the varity pack and they won't eat any of them. Even the one that eats everything! Food looks good and smells good to the human, but not the cats

This cat food is great! The ingredients are of good quality, and healthy too which makes me feel great about what I'm feeding my kitties. But the real test is how my cats feel, and they go absolutely crazy for it!. This wet cat food is everything I had hoped for. It's a winner in my book!"

I really, really wanted to find success with Koha. But I didn't. I purchased this kind and the limited ingredient chicken pate. I spent $100 with Koha hoping to transition my two cats over from Orijen (which they used to eat but have been rejecting recently). I loved the ingredients in Koha, and I wanted them to like it as well. But they didn't. They refused to eat it, especially this kind. I had purchased the pate first, and they kinda ate it, but very reluctantly. And they always love gravy, so I figured this would be something they'd eat. But no. They reject it on smell alone. They'll lick it a tiny bit, trying to make me happy. But they hate both kinds. They've refused to eat for about three days straight. I've tried mixing in other food they do prefer (Purina pro) -- but I really need to get them to eat something else. Purina pro's ingredients are awful and I've been desperately trying to get them to transition to literally anything healthier. There are carcinogenic ingredients in most cat food that are really bad for cats. Both of our cats are older, one is on chemo and the other has been given radioiodine treatment for his hyperthyroidism. Which means both of my cats have specific dietary needs. This brand has better ingredients than most, with a lower iodine content and no immediate ingredient concerns. This is why I gave it 2 stars. I just wish my cats didn't reject it. Maybe in the future Koha can improve flavor and texture. This has a ton of gravy, and while cats need a lot of moisture in their food, I feel like it's maybe excessive. Especially if the cats don't like the flavor. And the long pieces of shredded meat seem to annoy my cats. I feel like the meat could be smaller so they can manage easier. Unfortunately, because my cats have rejected yet another quality cat food, I have to purchase a lesser (and nearly as expensive) cat food. And unfortunately, probably purina, because they will at least eat it (even though it's a terrible food and they need something better). So now I'm out about $200, because I'm stuck with both kinds I purchased of the Koha and I have to buy something else. ... show more

KOHA is a new brand to me, but the good quality ingredients and lack of fillers convinced me to give them a try. My cat has tried all of the flavors and has obviously enjoyed each of them. My cats ate all of this and not just the broth which is unusual for my picky bunch. Even though they are all rescues they have developed quite the discerning palate. I like the variety of flavors and the rich broth that comes with this so I can mix in their supplements when needed.
