Gorgeous, well made water bottle. The glass is a decent thickness, the silicone wrap fits snugly against the bottle, and the color (olive green) is very pretty. It's convenient to have the option of opening the lower part of the lid, to access the wide mouth bottle for filling and cleaning. I also love that the handle is stationary, unlike another of my glass bottles. Dad always said fewer moving parts is better, and I think that applies here as well! The top of the double lid unscrews to access a smaller plastic spout for drinking. I have not noticed any leaking from either lid.

So, having had kidney stones recently, I go thru a LOT of water, and have quite a few bottles around. I've had mixed results with different ones, including the fact that I tend to wake up in the middle of the night to drink -- doesn't work too well, drinking on your back, if you are using a bottle with a straw. So I thought I'd give this one a try. First things first -- yes; it works fine, lying down. It's 32oz, so it's not too heavy (I have a 1 gallon 'chug' type bottle... doesn't work well, full, in bed -- I've soaked my pillow a few times), and the markings are fairly subtle; they are on the protective sheath, instead of being inscribed on the bottle. Since I got the black one, they are hard to see unless you look carefully; one side has Ml and Oz, the other side is marked with times -- and there's a nice touch, there -- it assumes you will refill it, so the times assume you will empty the bottle twice; it has times from 8am to noon on one side of the gap, and noon to 5pm, on the other. Issues? It has the same minor issue with the sheath kind of bubbling up when you hold it, but that's not really a problem, and is very common. The biggest issues is actually the Chug spout; most caps have some kind of air-flow hole, exposed when you expose the straw or spout -- this one doesn't, so there's no real way for air to flow back up into the bottle, if your mouth covers the whole spout (as mine does), reducing the speed with which it can pour. You can tilt it more carefully, and leave an open space between your lips and the spout, which can work, but I'd rather not have to think about it, when I'm drinking. A secondary hold on the chug cap (covered when the cap is on) or something similar would significantly improve the drinking experience. That said, it's still a nice bottle, with some thoughtful design elements, so I'd probably lean towards a 3.75... but there not being such a rating available, it gets a 4 of 5.

The Kodrine Water Bottle is nice to look at. The clear glass framed by silicone is an eye catcher. The glass is very sturdy and would hold up to most shocks. Wide neck makes loading up liquids and and ice mess free. Very easy to drink from the spout. The outside is marked with a handy guide for how much liquid is left. Unfortunately, the esthetics don't make for keeping your drinks cold. I could see the best uses for this bottle for short trips to the gym. As an experiment, I loaded the bottle with water and ice. An hour later the ice had melted and the water had started to turn cool. For that reason, the promoted use for outdoor activities does not seem practical. As good looking as this water bottle is, it's limited efficiency limits my recommendation to 3 stars

When I opened this I was WOWed. This cobalt blue glass bottle is beyond stunning. Very classy and I never thought a bottle could be classy or not. There are some things that I don’t think taste good in a stainless steel bottle. I saw this glass one and scooped it up. I’m super happy with it. There is a small issue with the grip part has a little tiny bit of a bulge. Doesn’t affect the product use in any way. I’m pretty sure it will be fine with use and needs to be “broken in”

Very sturdy construction, however it is glass. Not sure how it will hold up when dropped as I haven't done that. I also live in an extremely hot climate, so summer will be the test of how cold this bottle will keep my water. Like the dual lid openings, small for drinking, large for filling. Nice sturdy carrying handle. Like the concept. Just somewhat concerned that it's made of glass. Will update if needed. Would currently recommend.

What I do like about this water bottle is that it is a pretty color (I got purple) and it’s made of glass instead of plastic. But I don’t find it convenient to carry on the go. It is too large for either of the two strapped bottle holders I have. I can’t imagine carrying this on a walk or hike… it’s more something I’d keep in my car for extra water on hand. At the asking price it has, it might be a good idea to include a custom sized water bottle holder to strap across your shoulder, since it’s too large for standard holders.
