Super cute. There are so many things a person could do with this set-- the sky is the limit. I bought it to make place setting cards for my book club Christmas dinner. I wrote the name of the book we read for each month and stamped the date of the meeting next to it. I put each person's name on the envelopes and placed them on top of each plate at the table. Everyone really liked them. I stamped the dates in an imperfect fashion to make it look more authentic. The price is so reasonable, the cards are made of a nice quality, heavier cardstock and the kit has a generous number of cards and envelopes. Very cute and giftable! My only hold up was because in the photo for “original” there appears to be a light minty green color option. I was hoping to get that one but did get the plain one instead. Totally fine, both are cute! I just wish there had been an option to specify which color I preferred. That or make the photo listings a little more clear, both very listed in the photos of the “original.” Overall this is super cute and a great gift for your literary friends! I keep all the books I read and at this point, I have way too many books. When I lend them out, I like people to sign their name and the date they read the book...only because I find it interesting if I have an old used book and see the same information in it. So I thought these were a cute throwback to the library system I grew up with and people could sign their names on the cards. The information on the cards isn't exactly that...it's just borrowed dates, etc., but I'll make it work for my purposes. Great quality - very sturdy, smooth cardstock-type paper. ... show more

I really love this! I wanted a way to make our sharable library more like a library. We have a lot of books that we give out that we do want to see back. Our small group gets bigger every day and sometimes it is hard to keep up with all of the books we lend out. When I was looking up ways to keep track of books I did some research online and some folks suggested library cards. That lead me to this. This is not only super easy to get you started it is reminiscent of the days when I went to the library as a kid. The cards and card holders and even the stamp make it fun. It is also great when everyone is checking out, they are smiling because they are thinking the same thing. It is just great. I was not sure about using the sticky part because I was worried about damaging the books but it occurred to me that the books were going to people all the time and they were eventually going to show the wear and tear so it was okay.
