This is a different type of journal. If you are looking for guided prompts, this is not it. If you just want blank pages, it's not for you either. Essentially, each page on the left is a different color, and has a quote about dysfunction on it. Some are larger than others. Every page on the right is exactly the same (see photo). It has a box for date, then lines, then a funny section with "What would make it better today?" and some icons for a smoke, drink, pill, or shot. Some reviewers complained that there is not much room for writing, and I solved that easily by: writing around the quotes on the left pages, and not sticking to the lines on the right pages. I also don't worry about sticking one entry to one page; if I stop in the middle of a page, I stop. If I need more than one page, I just number the page for that entry. :) If I use the right page more then once for the same day, I just write the date in again, and add the page # of that entry. (Hey, it works for me!) I love the size and paper and everything about this journal so much. I already have Knock Knock I Can't Sleep Inner-Truth Journal (a gift from a friend!) and I've added Knock Knock It's Gonna Be Okay Inner-Truth Journal to my wishlist. :)

I bought this for my ex-boyfriend for Christmas because I knew we were going to break up soon. I asked him recently if he has used it and he said yes. I asked him if he has learned anything about himself and he said, "Yes, that I have every phobia that's out there". So if you have a neurotic, dysfunctional, commitment-phobe adult baby in your life then this is the journal for them. You never know it could really open their eyes to their true self. He is now trying to win me back for about the tenth time, but I am just going to wait until he uses this whole journal up on his road to self-discovery. I also purchased the "The Complete Manual of Things That Might Kill You: A Guide to Self-Diagnosis for Hypochondriacs" to give him with this journal and they go very well together. Highly recommend.

I love this journal as it is aesthetically pleasing and has tons of great quotes throughout the journal. The left page of every side of the journal is a giant quote and the right page is room for writing. It was what I wanted when I purchased the journal after seeing a similar product in the store, but if you are looking to have both sides of the page to write on this would not be the journal for you.

This is absolutely hilarious. The book is filled with funny quotes and plenty of actual journaling space. I got this for someone as a gift, but I want one of my own now!

This journal is super hilarious. Love writing about my day in it. I would have given it 5 stars but it came banged up with a bent corner and wrinkled edges. Needed to be shipped or packed differently.
