Oh man where do I even start.... This product as awesome! I love it a crap ton! It's an excellent piece and perfect for all your medieval needs. It's got a brilliant price and it's incredibly well made. Comes in lots of oil, but after a while of scrubbing it should come right off. Only a few quick downsides: - It came a day late, which is totally cool by me. - There's lots of sharp pokey bits, so make sure you have good cover like chainmail or a gambeson. - Pretty heavy, but it's manageable if you're a big guy like myself. And that's to be expected with a piece of armor like this one. Overall, if you want a good piece of armor for Ren faires, but don't want to sell your liver, this is perfect! PAULDRONS NOT INCLUDED.

The metal is a good quality and it is very cool looking. However, the fasteners are made of leather. One was already broken when we received the product, but since the Renaissance fair was coming up, there was no time to exchange it. We were able to work around it. My boyfriend, who wore it, is 6'2" tall and the holes in the over the shoulder fasteners are set so far apart that we had to tie them instead of being able to use the buckle to hold it up.Again, we worked around it by just tying it instead, which created a bump, but that was covered by the neck guard so it was okay. Also, the shoulders cut into him so we had to go to a blacksmith to have them reshaped, but that only cost $5. So, it's not perfect, but you likely won't find a better product for the price. I consider it a very good buy.

It's a great piece, got it in the mail and the entire front piece is already put together. The back plate just needs to be strapped to the front plate with the two shoulder clips and sides. It's annoying to do by yourself, so if you got a friend to help it will make the process faster. I'm 5"5 and pushing 38" waistline, the front plate seemed to fit quite well, just the areas around the shoulder/upper arm felt like it was slightly digging into my skin (it's probably just the back plate tugging since I wasn't properly strapped together the right way.) No complaints from me, the leather straps might be too flimsy so keep an eye on it. I wouldn't put too much strain on those straps if you can't help it. Great price though and I can't wait to wear it more. I highly recommend this product.

Can't ask for a better value for the money. It seems durable and I expect it to last a wille. Its definitely ment for a bigger person. Im 5' 8" and 175lb and its a little big but definitely manageable. I only plan to wear it around to the local ren fair and for that it will work just fine.

Height: 6’2” Weight: 364lbs Bust: 60” Waist: 44” I’m a big guy, strong man build, and this surprisingly fit me pretty well, I only had to bend it out a little to be able to fit me. If you are a large guy with a gut and are looking for armor I highly recommend this purchase. Even if you pay to have some of the straps replaced for longer ones it’ll still be far cheaper than other armors of similar quality!

Its nice, i like how its not one full plate on each side and it is two on each, one overlapping the other. However the one thing i would suggest when making these is to make it align at the buckles more. The plates arent aligned well on mine. Still nice plates. Offers a tad more mobility

Pretty good armor! Expect to do some light adjustments for the best fit. I'm on the smaller side so I had to bend the sides in to overlap. Not as heavy as I expected and the segments allow for a nice range of motion! You will have to do some maintenance on this armor!

Great armor, quality is good, ESPECIALLY considering the price!!! So I was nervous it wouldn’t work because I’m a small guy (5’4” and 120 lbs). Whilst it doesn’t fit perfectly as is, I was shocked by how little I will have to do to adjust it. It’s mostly a matter of popping some new holes into the leather straps so I can pull it tighter. Don’t know yet, but it’s possible the gambeson and chain mail will be enough to fill in some missing bulk. Otherwise it’s just a matter of bending the metal a little.
