This hat matches my striped apron perfectly. I am only 5 feet tall and my head is presumably on the smaller side. Even so, the elastic was surprisingly a bit too tight to be comfortable. My easy fix was to simply snip off the elastic on the back of the cap at both sides. I originally considered extending a longer strip of replacement elastic across the back in its place, but I can secure it comfortably and snugly using the ties alone so there is really no need. Be advised that if you do this, there will be zero tension in the hat itself and it is the equivalent of tying on a cloth bandana with no elastic. That works for me just fine, but I am only a home cook. Even so, I still like to wear a hat while cooking for hygiene purposes. ... show more

Cap looks bulky and fits weird. It does keep sweat off your face, and it fits my hair bun, but it seems as if it has excess fabric, making my head look bigger than it is.

It’s okay. My boyfriend liked it but it looks like a bonnet, he has a smaller head and it was big on the forehead. One size won’t fit all, kinda cheap material Update: 2021 After a couple washes the bonnet went away and the material held up for awhile I’m changing it to five because this is the one he wants now. Just need to get the new look washed away and worn. He has a small head so it fits perfectly ... show more

I bought it for my cooking class. When I tried it on, the fabric was itchy and super wonky to tie because the back was made of scrunched material. While it did fit, it wasn’t comfortable. So I used my baseball hat instead.
