I bought this to replace a larger and more expensive unit on a mini-pedal board I put together. I figured at its price it was pretty much a no-brainer, and I could return it if I didn't like it. At first I wasn't sure about the sound for two reasons: it doesn't sound quite as much like a Leslie speaker as the much more expensive unit, and it slightly colors the sound. It also doesn't have a volume level knob, which I thought would be an issue. Once I began playing with it, though, I found the tonal quality pleasant and it works quite well with my overdrives. I also got another small Joyo Ironman pedal that has a volume control and a more transparent sound but overall I think this is the one that will stay on my board for now. ... show more

Very similar to a well known orange pedal, the tones with my Strat are very Green Day. It does have some meat on the bones when coupled with humbuckers. But without a filter, this guy is noisy. I find myself bypassing it because of the hum and feedback.

I got tired of packing and unpacking rack mounts and half stacks while I was on the road playing music. I went on a quest to find inexpensive, portable gear that sounded decent so I could jam while on the road or work on new material. The Kmise Chorus was another one of those rare gems. When I went out to buy a bunch of pedals, I started low priced and worked my way up. Heavy duty build easy to read and the sound is good old classic chorus. Absolutely beautiful sound. Even more so when you consider how inexpensive it was. In true Amazon fashion it got here quick and I have zero complaints about this pedal. I'd recommend it to anyone. I love the sound of this chorus. It has the high chime harmonics of a CE-1/2. I love that sound, but it has limited use, I feel. Still for $19 it is absolutely worth it. I bought it on a whim. I didn't know what to expect and I absolutely love it. Great for early police-type music but doesn't have that 80's pop chorus like Boston or Def-Leppard. ... show more
