These boots were surprisingly more comfortable than I expected and likely due to the squared heel. Easy to walk in especially considering the heel grip has a thick rubber immaterial that seems to absorb shock somewhat when walking. The legs are straight and don’t crinkle nor bend although loose enough to where you aren’t walking stiff. They have no zippers so you may struggle pulling them off. These accommodate wide calves but I’m uncertain if they would be comfortable for someone with wide feet or large ankles due to the lack of ease of removing. Great statement boot! I got a 10.5 because I wear thicker socks with my boots but these are true to size in my opinion so you don't necessarily have to go up in size. Wear these with some cargo jeans tucked on or under a flowy dress or skirt. These are very versatile. I also wear padding in my heels to relieve some of the pain of the heel.
