Klotz is some of the best if not the best 2 stroke oil on the market. I love it. All the other types also. Depending on what you're going after. This oil R-50 is some of the best I've come across for my 01 yz 250. Just like Klotz says it's great for powervalve motors. My bike has never ran better and started eaiser. The motor has never felt like this before. Super raunchy in the midrange. Picks the front wheel up and it tips. I've been really partial to Maxima 927 castor for alot of years. Still love Maxima brand products. I've tried all kinds of different jetting to use Maxima 927. It's great for air cooled motors and super high rpm motors. It just does not do what R-50 does. You can be putting alot on a single track trail for miles and when you crack the throttle it's right there. The bike comes to life in an instant...gets on top of itself so fast it's insane. I love Klotz now and you need to check out the other Klotz oils for 2 strokes...you will not be disappointed.

I've been running this for several years at 50:1 in my 70cc modified mopeds. Probably overkill, but it burns clean, and long rips at full throttle are a piece of cake. When temps climb, no worries. Lots of other good choices available, but I dig the aroma!

AFTER USING THIS FOR THE FIRST TIME.I DONT WANNA USE ANY OTHER OIL IN MY SUZUKI RM 2STROKES.I STILL HAVE OLD GALLON OF ROYAL PURPLE I THINK I WILL NEVER USE UNLESS I DONT HAVE NO CHOICE.KLOTZ SMELL SO GOOD.I SUPPOSE TO USE 800 MOTUL IN MY RM'S BUT IMMA STICK WITH KLOTZ

I’ve used Motul 800, Motorex, Redline, Legend Performance ZX2-SR, Maxima Castor 927, Panolin, Bel-Ray etc… I’m forgetting some.. I just switched from running Motul 800 to Klotz R-50 and it completely transformed my BRC500. It went from being a bit soft on power on the bottom and smoky to crisp off the bottom the moment I crack the throttle and it just pulls hard immediately at any rpm, and in any gear now ….and has less smoke. I’ve never changed oils and noticed such a massive change in performance before. I’m buying this from now on. Simply Amazing.

Klotz r50 is my go to premix for our rm85, rm125, and rm250. I've been running this stuff for years without any oil related issue. Every time our engines are disassembled the combustion chambers and power valves are as clean as a whistle yet still have a heavy visible oil film. For the money this is the best deal considering the excellent protection it provides.

I recently started using klotz this year for my 2.5 merc drag motor. However I was told not to use R50 unless im turning rpm"s in the 10k range and should use just the klotz full synthetic. My only suggestion is to have recommendations on the container.
