  • Cinema Surround 3
These wireless surround speakers add to the sound bar and sub combo to complete the sound stage. Quality sound for a great price .

  • Missing USB connection Dongle and there are worthless without it.
Cannot believe I waited almost 2 weeks for refurbished shipping and they arrived without the most crucial piece: the usb connection dongle. They're paperweights without it. The dongle is pictured on the box, and stated in the OEM materials. There is nothing on the renewed product page to state that it comes without the proprietary dongle. And why would it? They literally do nothing without this pre-paired Klipsch firmware dongle. ... show more

  • Get the firmware update not too good without it if using with bar 48
These speakers kept producing a high shrieking noise at regular intervals after the 30 day period. Finally did a firmware update on the bar 48 and that seems to have fixed the problem. Works good now

  • If you're on the fence read this review (firmware update fixes issues)
I rarely leave reviews, but I was on the fence on purchasing these so hopefully this helps someone else out. TLDR: There is a firmware update available for the Bar 48 that fixes the issues other reviewer's are complaining about. Update is available direct from Klipsch and they have a link to YouTube video directions on how to install the update. Before updating I had filed an RMA request with Klipsch and thought I already applied the update. Turns out It did not install successfully. With the sound bar on my table and video directions in front of me I was finally able to install the update and resolve these issues. I bought a Klipsch Bar 48 a few months ago and experienced multiple issues with it. As I said above the firmware update resolved all of these: - Subwoofer would randomly disconnect at least once per day. To reconnect everything would have to be power cycled then re-paired. - Audio would drop out after brief moments of silence such as changing applications or between TV show episodes. The only way to resolve this was change input sources then change back to TV/HDMI. - The input volume of Bluetooth audio was normal. Any device connected to optical/digital or HDMI input would require close to maximum volume to be audible. - Eventually my Bluetooth audio connection stopped working entirely. I've added the Surround 3 pair to the Bar 48. The surround effect of the whole system in action works much better than I expected. I read the directions and changed my TV's ARC output format and Apple TV output to send a PCM direct or Dolby Digital signal. Also, the. volume level of the rear surrounds can be adjusted individually to compensate for distance from the the viewer/listener. I have my sub and rear surrounds both up one full dot (three click increase from flat). Once these are mounted I will try customizing the levels and test different input formats. Long story short for under $200 these are a cheap, small and easy way to add wireless surround sound to your room. I just wish I could add a second wireless sub to the mix! ... show more

  • Dead on arrival, would not work.
Mine came with the left speaker dead on arrival. To be honest I don't think I will ever try to order a renewed item again. It was the only surround speakers available at the time to complete my 5.1 setup otherwise I would not have tried to order them. Especially with Audiophile quality sound. I had to wait for a week until the vendor received the returned product. I usually order from Amazon stock so returning my money happens when the carrier scans it in. Not on these, I had to wait a while but within 24 hours of them receiving it I was refunded my money. I am only buying new from now on. Who really want their product repaired with parts that are only 80% as good? Because it makes all the difference when it comes to Audiophile quality sound. ... show more

  • Refurbished speakers are stolen property with the serial numbers scratched off, and are defective.
The speakers arrived with the serial numbers scratched off, which is an indication of theft. There was no owners manual, and the speakers would not connect to the soundbar. These are refurbished speakers which are defective and probably stolen property. I am returning them and ordering a new set. The Kipsch 600 cinema sound bar subwoofer are providing excellent sound, the new speakers should be compatible. ... show more
