Description

Klein Tools designed a set of ProFlex Torsion Zone Impact Driver Bits for the professional tradesman and do-it-yourself enthusiasts. All of the bits are made of high-impact rated S2 steel and feature an optimized torsion zone that absorbs impact forces to increase the lifetime of the bit. The 3-Inch bit holder and 1/4-Inch and 5/16-Inch nut drivers have strong magnets to easily hold bits and fasteners in place. Minimal chamfering on the nut drivers hex pockets increases surface contact between the nut and driver for better performance. All 40 pieces fit in a durable, impact-resistant case featuring steel hinges, a stay-shut latch and modular stackability with other cases of similar design.

Klein bits are phenomenal. Very well made, last forever, and this coming from a guy who uses nothing but Milwaukee and HILTI for my power tools. It fit me needs because there is always some sort of wild bit design that I don't have. Appears to be high quality expected of Klein tools. The case was an added bonus...seems solid. A bit challenging to pull the smaller bits out of their spot but I suppose that's better than them falling out and rattling around in the case. ... show more

    • Good quality bits, but very tight holes making extraction difficult.
This is a great kit if you pick up a cordless impact driver. With this kit you'll have nearly any bit you'll ever need. The case itself is very strong, and the bits seem to be of high quality. Used them frequently on 'hard' to break open screws. Only complaint is on the case itself. The bits are extremely, extremely secure. So secure, that usually I have to use a pair of pliers or something to extract the bit from it's socket in the case. I'm a larger man, and my hands will get hurt (if I'm not wearing gloves) to extract the bits from their sockets. In summary, the socket holes need to be increased by a few microns so the bits are easier to extract. A few of my common use bits have loosened up over time, but just by a bit. This would be easy 5 stars if it wasnt for the too-small holes for the bits in the case. However, dont let this deter you. This is a lifetime quality and the bits will likely outlast the tool (and maybe the user!). ... show more

I repair appliances and i use this box (8-10) hours a day, every day. I use it to prop up washing machines as a wedge. I also needed the larger (more beefy) bit inserts, so unfortunately I spent $20 on a different mod box specifically to steal the two wider bit holders (you can see in the pictures) . I'm uploading these pictures to hopefully help other people see what's possible to put in these boxes. Every time I've needed a new bit whether it's a security bit or whatever, I take a bit that I've never used out and put the new bit in. At this point I still have some of the original line of bits, that have never been used but plenty of the other slots have changed. I hope this helps. ... show more
