I wanted to like it, I really do, but I can't stand this bottle. It is NOISY. You can't open it silently. It take forever to unscrew and make a lot of noise while you do, and you have to do it wh Ith two hands so you can't drink while holding a child, driving or working, and you can't drink while walking either because the opening is HUGE and it spills everywhere. Also it shows all fingerprints and it looks filthy all the time. It's not insulated so it gets sweaty. That said, It is leakproof, easy to wash in the dishwasher (no parts at all to collect mold, which is perfect in this matter) and lightweight. Way too expensive to me for my experience. ... show more

    • Great bottle design; think about the finish you want
The bottle is great. I liked the idea of it being made from only 3 materials: steel, a silicone o-ring, and bamboo (which adds a very nice accent). There's no leaking, and the single-wall design which covers 90%+ of my use cases is more compact and lighter than the double-wall designs that dominate the market now. I went for the mirrored finish, since I thought it would look cool - and it does, until you handle it. It's a total fingerprint/smudge magnet. Now, it's not terrible because when the bottle is sitting on a desk or something, the angle of the lighting helps hide the smudges, until you pick up the bottle. Also, the mirrored finish is kind of slippery when it's wet. I decided not to knock a star of the rating for this though, because it's clearly advertised as a mirrored finish - I just didn't think about the implications of that. If I buy another I'll go for the brushed finish. I'm hoping they'll add a stonewashed finish though, which I would love. ... show more

Very sharp looking water bottle with no plastic parts. My cat knocks my drinks over, so I can verify that the lid is in fact leak proof. It’s not insulated, but that’s fine for my use. I was looking at the larger bottles that you can purchase a separate metal lid for, but decided to try this instead since it came with a metal lid. I’m not sure why it’s so hard to find water bottles with no plastic parts. Oh yeah, don’t fill this all the way up. Fill it up to the bottom of the neck. The metal lid is solid and will displace the water. Not a big deal, I was just use to plastic bottles with hollow lids. ... show more

I like the bottle but it develops dents and the loop broke off too quickly. I’m an every day user and very unhappy about price vs quality. It was also closer to 20ml than 27ml
