I have two stainless Yeti bottles (20 and 32the 20oz for coffee and 32oz for water) I took on my last deployment to Afghanistan in 2017 and have used them everyday since. But the basic top (with the handle) was a little messy every time you unscrewed it to take a drink. It worked fine but along came this cap. I personally thought with the cap being two pieces it would be easy to lose but because of the simple design I find it to be the perfect cap. Even with gloves or dirty hands I can easily unscrew the top, take a drink and close the bottle while keeping the drink part clean and secure. Fast forward to today. I work as an RN (I’m also a combat medic in the national guard) and I use these bottles everyday and I love the caps just as much. I love how the design is simple (nothing to break), nothing leaks, keeps the mouth part clean and has a sturdy handle to grab on. I can throw the bottle in my bag or truck and never worry about leaks. My only complaint is the bottom part of the cap secures so well it is sometimes a pain to unscrew but better at least it doesn’t leak. This one of those products I use everyday and is defiantly a game changer. Would definitely buy again! ... show more

fit perfectly and materials seem higher quality than the original that came with my Yeti bottle. The original cap threads stripped out from 4-5 years of daily hot coffee use.

    • ALMOST PERFECT!!!
I've used the hot shot cap, the straw cap, the magslider lid, and the original triple haul cap, but the chug cap is my go-to cap. It allows easy refilling (and a couple ounces more capacity, if needed/preferred). Drinking and pouring are spill-free (pouring straight out of the rambler or hot shot cap always requires some sort of clean up). Closing the lid is easy and smooth. The always excellent triple haul handle makes carrying comfortable (my fingers never fatigue, even with a full 26 oz rambler). Even though it's a "chug" cap, drinking from this cap is still very controllable, so if you don't want to chug you don't have to. This cap absolutely deserves the 5-star rating. The only reason I say the chug cap is ALMOST perfect is that the top of triple haul caps are slightly rounded/not flat, which can make setting it on its head precarious. Not that it doesn't stand on it's head when you need it to. It does -- on flat, level surfaces. Why does that matter? Well, when it's just the very top of chug cap set on it's side at an angle, there's no issue of dripping. However, when the bottom half of the cap is taken off it holds enough moisture that it will drip when it's set on its side, regardless of whether it's set down by itself or attached to the top portion of the cap. Removing both pieces together and setting the cap on its head prevents any such drippage. Again, it does stand on its head and it does work to prevent dripping; it's just not perfect ;) I'm guessing the handle was designed with a slightly rounded top for maximum comfort, but I've never found myself gripping it with my whole hand/palm. I only ever hold it with the three middle fingers on either hand, so it seems to me that a flat top would only serve to augment the cap's already insane usefulness, not hurt it. ... show more

It took a long, long time to arrive but it was worth it. My yeti is just as new with this. Leak proof, sturdy and perfect fit.

    • Good- Seal is a little sad
There was a minor opening on the seal, which is the whole reason i purchased a new top. My boyfriend flipped if in a way that closed the seal again. Just be mindful! Overall good, and less leaky then the original one that came with my rambler.
