These cups can go through a lot of tumbles! They are semi leak proof... the mouth piece has to be closed down, if it lifted up and you tip the cup upside down, it does leak. They are safe for the dishwasher, the kids love them, and love the stickers they come with, so far the stickers have held up to many many many washes. They are pricey to buy especially if you have multiple kids and want a few to rotate, but they are definitely worth it! We use them all the time and they go just about everywhere with us.
