The zipper feature is nice, but if your pillow is just slightly too long or voluminous, the pillow feels puffier than you might be used to. This isn’t an issue for me, but I do notice that the little bit of extra poof and slip from the material can make me migrate a bit to the edge of the pillow while I’m sleeping. If you have a sensitive neck, I would probably look for one without the zipper. There is enough slip in this pillow that I wake up with silkier hair that looks healthier. After using the pillowcase for 2-3 days, I’ve noticed that I need to change it out. It absorbs everything and will look visibly soiled/retain a slight smell from any skincare/haircare products you may use before bed. I usually change my pillowcase twice a week, so it’s not a huge inconvenience, but there is no room for laziness with this pillowcase. It’s not the thickest material, but it’s cushy enough to be snuggly.
