I have thin, fine curly hair and struggle to keep a bonnet on my head so I decided to try this pillowcase. I can't stand the feel of silk on my face and this pillowcase is dreamy. It feels cool to the touch and so soft that I almost instantly fall asleep. I do tend to sleep hot, so I can't say if the pillowcase adds to that or not. I bought 2 of these pillow cases in different colors after hearing such great things about silky cases. I’ve had these pillow cases for a few months now and I am torn/undecided on how I feel about it. I know silk is supposed to be super good for your hair and skin but I have not noticed a difference in either yet. The material is really nice, super silky and smooth, and I love that it has a zipper so the pillow itself doesn’t slip out. But I feel like the silkiness makes it super slippery. I have two silky pillows and I feel like I loose my pillows in the middle of the night all the time because they keep slipping off the bed. I’ve been tossing and turning a lot at night and these pillow cases make it a battle to keep them in one place. My sheets are not silky, they’re cotton, so I’m not sure if it’s the combination of different materials but these pillows are like a slip n slide. I’m not sure if my tossing and turning is because of the pillows constantly sliding around but I haven’t been sleeping well at all. I’ll keep trying with these but very undecided as of right now. They aren’t terrible, the material and quality is great, it’s just the sliding around that I’m really bothered by. I might just turn these into travel cases but still not sure. I’ll update if my mind changes.
