It’s a pretty set, though the metal seems kind of thin to me. The spoon and jigger had scratches on them straight out the box, but they aren’t noticeable unless you’re looking for defects, so I kept them. I did drop the shaker on a tile floor while I was drying it and it didn’t dent, so I think it’s pretty sturdy despite feeling like the metal is too thin. If you’re giving it as a gift, I would recommend inspecting the pieces before giving. Otherwise, I think it’s worth what I paid for it. If something happens to it, I’m not likely to buy this particular set again, though. ... show more

I like this set because it looks a bit more finished than others in its category and price range. The wooden holder looks very nice and plays well with the stainless steel items. The layout of the items is very pleasing and it has a great composition. The items themselves have quite a bit of heft and don't feel cheap. They are as useful as they are beautiful. I'm not a big mixed drink maker, but I enjoy having mostly every option I need for when I get around to buying and making all the ingredients for a nice cocktail. These are all standard sizes and quality from what I'm used to from my days of serving and bartending. The spoon is the worst part of this set simply because it is so easy for it to fall out of the holder. It doesn't happen a lot but it does happen very easily--if you bump it, it will fall. The wood is also a little lacking with the craftsmanship but it's only noticble under scrutiny, so for the price of the set I can't complain. It's actually better than I thought it would be. Otherwise, I love it. It's a good collection, takes up minimal space, is tidy, works as it should, and looks great. ... show more

If anyone is looking for a nice mixology set that has good individual pieces, this is a great find! The reason I say that is first, the shaker is a good all around size. It chills cocktails quickly, and the lids were easy to take off. Best of all no leakage while shaking! The muddler actually works to break down what you're trying to crush whether it be orange slices, cherries and other items due to it's barbed bottom. The jigger is professional looking, and measures out 1 or 2 shots and anything in between. The strainer, wine stoppers, and pour spouts for hard liquor all work efficiently! The custom wood holder for all the utensils is beautifully crafted and looks like a piece of art. They even thought to put drain holes in the bottom of the shaker slot so that any water runoff from condensation from the shaker has somewhere to go rather than staining and swelling the wood holder. Whether you are just starting out with cocktail making or are a seasoned professional, this set is a really great find and will look beautiful on your counter or bar. Most importantly, you'll have quality tools to make amazing cocktails! The ensemble even comes with some nice cocktail recipes printed on heavy cardstock with a velvet carrying case that adds a 'hipster' vibe to the ensemble. ... show more

This set just oozes class and glamor. The quality is super top notch! I can now make a perfect cocktail with all the right tools. Everything is great metal with nice weight, and the wood stand is stunning to look at when it's all together. Definitely recommend this one
