I picked up this chef's jacket recently to help out in the kitchen. I love experimenting when I cook, but letâs be honest, hot oil splatters and steam burns are not fun. This jacket has really stepped up my protection and safety when I'm cooking. Letâs start with the positives. This thing is built to handle heat. Itâs durable, has long sleeves to protect your arms, and itâs super easy to clean. What really surprised me was how breathable it is, it doesnât feel too thick or overly hot, which is a big plus when youâre spending hours over the stove. I went with a black chefâs jacket, and I highly recommend it. It doesnât show stains easily, but you still get the same protection as the classic white version. The double-breasted design is a nice touch too, makes it look sharp. That said, wearing one doesnât automatically make you a pro chef, but I can say Iâve stopped getting burned by splatter, and thatâs a win in my book. One thing to keep in mind, though: Make sure you size up just a little. I did, because I didnât want the jacket to feel too restrictive when Iâm reaching, stirring, or lifting. A slightly looser fit makes a big difference in comfort and mobility, especially if youâre spending a lot of time moving around the kitchen. So, if youâre serious about cooking at home, or just want to avoid those nasty kitchen burns, a chefâs jacket might be worth adding to your setup. It did the trick for me.

This jacket is surprisingly well made! It's lightweight and seems to breath well, which is important when you're working on a hot cookline all day. It's priced reasonably and comfortable with the shorter half sleeves. I like that it has a front pocket and two sleeve pockets as well! It does seem to run a bit small, depending on how you like your shirts/jackets to fit you may want to order one size larger.

This chef coat is lightweight and seems to have been made with stretchy fabric, on a long day of cooking it keeps me cool and doesnât restrict movement much. The short sleeves are perfect for a hot kitchen, and the black color looks sharp and professional while hiding stains well. The fit is true to size and is roomy enough for comfort but still tailored enough to look clean and put-together. The fabric also washes well and doesnât wrinkle easily, which is always appreciated in a busy work environment. It strikes a great balance between comfort and professionalism, which isnât always easy to find in chef wear. My only minor complaint is that I wish the button quality was a bit sturdier as they feels slightly loose after several washes, though it hasn't come off. Overall, this is a fantastic chef coat that Iâll definitely be ordering again.

Using aprons most of my life, thought it would be interesting to test out this Chef's coat. First impressions of the coat makes me feel like a legit cook. There are definitely some added pluses for having a coat like this - the pockets on the shoulders, not having my apron draped around my neck, it covering my arms and shoulders it gave me more mobility in the kitchen. The material is polyester with some stretch and give. Overall was comfortable to wear. I especially liked the pocket on the upper arms - just handy to have my tasting spoon or a pen handy instead of rummaging around for one. Also the material has some sleekness to it, so when i accidentally spill something noticed it was a bit easier to wipe off quickly. Length was good, coverage was great - i like the option of wearing this while cooking. Just feels more free and my family says i like "legit". Good enough for me! I think the price is very good for what you get, and this is a nice upgrade for more serious chefs and even chefs in restaurants as well.
