It's been easy to use the immersion blender to make our meals easy for baby to eat with us without choking! Also great breaking up spinach to throw into pancakes, eggs and muffins for the kids to get their iron. It's so versatile and easy to clean and store! My favorite food processor and immersion blender set. I've had another set from a different brand, though the processor was stronger, it was a pain to clean and water kept getting trapped inside the lid causing mold. This model has a much better user friendly design that makes me reach for this one again and again.

I have thrown away my old blender and food processor. This one unit takes their place. In our 2 person household, the 3 cup container is enough for a good size breakfast shake. The chopper I think is 4 cups, It is more than roomy enough for all my cooking needs. Since I frequently cook from scratch the whisk has also been well used. It whips cream very well and so far has been able to handle batters. Clean up is a snap. Everything rinses very easily and has had no problems in the dishwasher. The storage bag and the power cord cinch are nice handy little additions. Edit 7/17/2013 Still working great and still the most useful tool I have ever owned. The accessories have been diswashed many times too. I just brought my food processor and blender to the thrift store.

I've had this about a week now, and have used it every day. I love that the chopper attachment chops the vegetables down to a diced size, but doesn't puree them like other choppers I've used before. The immersion blender made amazing home-made mayo. This little blender has become my right hand in the kitchen, and because it's KitchenAid brand I trust it will work for a long time. The only cons I've found: The bag is only big enough for the blender, the blender attachment and the whisk. I would have preferred it be large enough for all the components to be stored easily together. Also the power button has to be held down the entire time you're blending. I'm sure this is a safety feature, but with arthritis in my hands holding the power button in the whole time made for sore thumbs. I'd still recommend this to anyone who wants a blender and chopper but not a full-sized food processor.

This was purchased to replace our aging and inoperable hand-held blender. I didn't necessarily need the other accessories that it came with, but for the price it really is a good deal. I have not used the whisk, but I have used the mini-processor, which was a real treat. My husband and I grow basil and we make our own pesto. This smaller processor is quick and easy to use and to clean up, and it's great for making small batches of pesto or salsa rather than pulling out the big huge full sized food processor. The emersion blender works quite nicely as well. My only suggestion would be for the button to have an option to "stay on" rather than having to be held down when you want the machine to be on. This is not a breaking point for me, though. I like that the cord is very thick and sturdy and has a nice rubberized cord holder. The entire set up seems to be well made and study. I have used the mini-processor several times and my bowl has not been scratched from the blade, which is something other people stated had happened with theirs. Very happy, and also happy to see that the price on Amazon was $15 cheaper than Costco for the exact same set

This is one of the most versatile pieces of equipment in my kitchen. Not only does the immersion blender itself work very well, it also comes with a mini food processor attachment, which is very useful for quickly chopping, dicing, and/or mixing ingredients; and it also comes with a whisk attachment which is extremely useful for someone like me that doesn't have a mixer of any kind. All the attachments are easy to use and clean. Can't recommend this enough.

Oh my god, this hand blender amazing. My partner and I use it all the time. Every part of it except the whisk, I haven't even tried out the whisk yet, just because I've got a habit of just using a fork and hand whisking. The chopper attachment works well, but I haven't used it to chop anything, I've mostly used it for making bean dips and sauces. I use the "blending arm" mostly for blending soups. It is so easy to clean, and has a nice modern look to it. The attachments are easy to attach and remove.

I already had this product and ordered this one for a gift! My friend was thrilled, he had been wanting one since he seen mine! It is a great gadget to have around the kitchen and the attachments are easy to clean as long as you clean after use and don’t allow it to sit around too long!

For years I had a wonderful Calphalon hand blender that I loved. But eventually the chopping bowl stopped working. The immersion still worked (and I still use it) but I had to get a replacement for the bowl. So I purchased this KitchenAid set. What a huge mistake. I did try the immersion blender but the 3 speeds are pretty much indistinguishable. The Calphalon had much better settings. So I put that part away. Then I started using the chopping bowl - mostly for garlic - and that was an even bigger problem. Cleaning chopped garlic off of the lid made water get inside the lid and it doesn't want to come out. I can shake it and hear the water sloshing around in there. I thought maybe it would just evaporate so I put the lid back on the bowl and put it into the cupboard. A few days later, I took it out and there was icky water inside the bowl! Yuk! Most of that did eventually evaporate but I was never sure if water wasn't leaking from the lid into the bowl when I chopped something. Bigger yuk! I contacted KitchenAid and they did call me today. Basically said you should only wipe out the lid. Don't wash it, don't rinse it. But there is no other solution. I really wish Calphalon still made their hand blender but they stopped. I will be looking for a replacement brand for this KitchenAid and won't be recommending it to anyone.
