It was impossible to find a protective mat for my integrated, small garbage disposal sink. So when I saw this mat was cut-to-fit with scissors, I ordered it. Upon opening the package, I was delighted that the mat was an excellent color match to the protective grid in my large sink tho’ they are from different manufacturers. Cutting the mat to size was easy & took less than 5 minutes including making cuts to match the drain opening. The mat has been in use now for a little over a week and it has already become slimy on the underside despite that my disposer is not often used and the sink is well rinsed regularly each day. The problem is the mat clings to the sink with no air gap much like bathtub mats. I haven’t come up with a solution how to raise the mat to get air circulation to prevent slime & eventually mold. So I cannot really recommend this product even tho’ it presented solutions to a need.

I use one side of my castiron sink to hold the empty/clean recycled cans and plastic bottles after they have been rinsed out. The cans were causing rust on the sink so I was looking for a mat that would protect the sink bottom. I got these about a month ago and I'm very happy with them. They were inexpensive and I got two! (which I didn't realize at the time) I really like how easy it was to cut to size. I used the little extra peice to for under my dish soap bottle. They protect my sink like they are supposed to. I have no problems with them drying out as we don't really put a lot of water on that side of the sink so I havent' seen any mold/slime grow under it yet like some other reviews. But I also feel like this is kind of expected since it's a matt in a wet place. Final Verdict: Good sink protector, would buy again. Not worried about it getting slimy underneath, will clean under it every now and then.

These are great sink mats. They were easy to trim to size for my sink. They are anti-skid so heavy plates or glasses don't just slide down in the sink. I originally got the 'honey' color which looked like a pretty golden yellow online but were an ugly sort of brownish color. So returned them for the tranparent gray/black. Much better.

I was very hesitant in ordering this as had searched for a Rubbermaid rubber sink mat as I had used for many years and could no longer find it in a large size. I reviewed many other sink mats and finally decided on this one and am very pleased. Water drains through well, maintains it's shape and color, very easy to clean. Great price for two mats. They also can be cut to size, but this fit my large sink perfectly. (Do not use one on the smaller side where the disposer is so actually have an extra one for use in the future)
