Both have been wet, food spilled on them, and animals scratching at them. They still look brand new. I like the color and the feel of the rug. I didn’t know that it wouldn’t stick on ceramic. It slides a lot. I think because the grout allows air pockets, it doesn’t allow it to get a good suction.

I bought one runner for my kitchen and I liked it so much I purchased 2-more for 2-hallways. These are thin runners with weight, they stay in place, and they are easy to spot clean or machine wash, although I have not put mine in the washer. Doors sweep over these runners easily. The color and non-skid backing are as advertised however about one month after purchase the threads in high traffic section started "pilling" badly. Machine washed on gentle and air dried.

I had to replace my old kitchen mat and wanted something a bit longer so I ordered this. It’s similar in color to my old one and the extra length is just what I wanted. The quality is good and I like the way it feels on my feet. It does catch a bit of dirt which you can feel if you’re on it barefoot but it vacuums really nicely. The only thing I don’t care for is it does not stay in place! I’m not sure if it’s the tiling I have in my kitchen or what but I’m constantly adjusting it. ... show more
