Well here we are months later and they are still looking good and staying put. I really was surprised at how much better these were than I expected. they have a nice look and can go with just about any type of kitchen, and the trim along the edges is a definite plus, because it makes tripping on them a little bit less of a risk. One thing to note, and this has nothing to do with the quality or the company, but if you have a cat who likes to scratch on things, you can expect to have some loose threads coming out of this. Not quite as wide as I thought but it’s a nice neutral color and non slip which is great. I really like the twill look of the fabric and it’s a perfect thickness.. I had one of those thick mats by my sink and was constantly tripping on it so decided to get a runner. This one was exactly what I was looking for. It’s low profile, so no tripping! Also, the fabric is soft, and it stays in place. Very happy with it, and it was very reasonably priced.

He stumbled at his new point and might have damaged his hip, so found this runner on Amazon and put it down the next day on arrival. Of course when we called him from one room to the other he walked on the tile next to the runner. We've convinced him walking on the 'carpet' is eligible for a puppy treat.
