I would like to amend my review. So I've had these for quite a while now. when I created the original review, the company actually reached out to ME and offered me a refund. I ignored them, displeased at the time. Over the last 6+ months I have to say? These are my go to in the kitchen for everything. Are they good enough to take things out of the oven? yep. Are they good enough to move hot handled pans? yep. Are they used for bbq'ing and handling super hot molten lava foods? yep. Now if you have something in the oven 500+ degrees you shouldn't be using this. But I can honestly say EVEN THOUGH they do run big [these are unisex made for mens and womens hands], I have adapted. Want to know the BEST feature? If you look at the outside you'll see silicone bumps. I use those every time I put the gloves ON to snug fit them, and I have no issues. That's all I wanted to say. So kudos to them for reaching out to me, and all I have to say is give them a chance. Original review below: They are comfy-but they run big. I of course, have tiny hands and they are made for all sizes. You have to be very careful however. These types of gloves are NOT made for standing around holding very hot items. Get it out of the oven and PUT IT DOWN. Temporary replacements for regular oven mits at best. Or handling bbq items. Because holding dark cast iron or sheet pans gets very hot.

I love these gloves. I had to exchange the one size fits most gloves for size small gloves and they fit perfectly. The customer service was really exceptional to work with so I will be buying from Kitchen Perfection again.

I bought these for an office grab bag swap- gender and age neutral. They were a hit - and coveted by many. I use these for my grill all the time as the glove is more workable and flexible than a mitt. My grandchildren also use them when they help me cook and while a but big for tweens hands again, more workable than a mitt. Easy to clean and I have never felt any heat from a hot grill/oven item. Great to use not only on the grill but also for a pizza oven and fire pits too. Overall great porduct.

I ordered this to replace my quilted cloth oven mitt that was several decades old and showing its use. I liked the fact that these are rubberized and washable. I received them as expected and in good condition. I kind of thought this but these are more suited to BBQ'rs and smokers than to kitchen use. The rubberized gloves are perfect for using hands to flip briskets or racks of ribs. However, they are not as good on pots and pans in the kitchen. I was baking cookies one afternoon and the cookie sheets were coming out and going right back in the oven regularly. While these glove obviously do insulate out a lot of heat, I noticed my hands did get pretty warm if I held a hot cookie sheet too long. Don't get me wrong, it was completely manageable. I just have to make a mental note not to hang onto a hot cookie sheet right out of the oven while I talk to someone on the phone. I would have given these a cross the board 5 if they had just a little more insulation capability.
