I love these fingernails that are simple to apply and usually last 10 days to two weeks for me. I always use rubber gloves when I clean, which I believe gives me a few extra days of wear. I almost always get comments on how pretty my nails look. I usually wait to take them off when they start getting very loose. When I have taken them off early, the adhesive was so strong it tore my natural nails. my natural nails are pitifully weak… when I wear the kiss nails, they have a chance to grow stronger. Then I have to give them a week of rest, because if I immediately put another set on, it is detrimental to my natural nails.

I got a lot of compliments on this mixed mani set. I use various brands of press on’s, and I like the impress ones if I know I definitely want them off in a week or less, as they don’t last as long (I assume because of the adhesive glue on the nail). However, I do add a brush on glue to my actual nail (glamnetic brand) otherwise these don’t last more then a day or 2 for me. I had this set on for 6 days and in that time 2 became loose, but did not pop off. I took them off since they were becoming lose and re-applied on with kiss brand pink gel nail glue (I keep that in my purse with me and highly recommend it for quick fixes on the go) which did the trick. Easier to remove then press on’s where I use the brush on glue on my natural nail and kiss pink gel on the press on, and again I assume that is because of the adhesive tab glue. I also top my nails with a gel top coast to add more shine. Bonus points on this particular set as I got it for less then $4 (of course prices on Amazon vary all the time, but at the time I got this for a great price !)

Some information about myself before writing the review. I have sever hyperhydrosis, meaning my hands are sweaty/wet about 70% of the day making it difficult to wear fake nails without them falling off in a day. I also haven’t worn fake nails for many years due to this. These nails are very pretty and I got a lot of compliments on them! They’re the perfect winter color in my opinion. When first putting them on, I had the pinky pop off pretty quickly. Not sure if it was due to my sweaty hands, but it was the only nail to pop off during the process. I held down each nail on my fingers, with paper towels after that, for around a minute each. The overall process of putting them on and prep took right around 15 minutes. Throughout the day I continued pressing down on them every once in awhile to ensure sticking. The nails were fairly comfy when on, with minor irritation on the cuticles. The length of the nails were a bit too long for me on some of the fingers, especially on the middle finger. I didn’t feel like they were sized properly compared to the other nails I had on. The nails were fairly easy to file down, however I would use a different file than the one they provide. When filing the pinky nails especially I would try to press down on the nail while doing it to ensure it doesn’t pop off. I am not the easiest on my nails, I work at a hospital, I do house work, and I workout at the gym, they withstood dog scratches. These lasted about 4 days for me, but probably could have lasted 5 if I hadn’t been picking at them. I assume they would last longer for people who don’t have hyperhydrosis, but regardless I am happy with how long they lasted, especially for the price! I would and have recommended these to my friends and family members!

*update* Downgraded to one star. Three of them popped off under normal use within 3 days, I think I ended up replacing or regluing almost all of them at some point. They did indeed collect a ton of disgusting stuff under the nail where the adhesive went out past my nail, and the edges of the nail where the adhesive didn't go to (like near my cuticle) pulled so much hair out. The shiny (not glitter, not straight aqua) came off of half of the nail after a few days too. The adhesive would lose its grip after a while and the nails felt like loose teeth. Now only giving one star because the cuticle tool included was great for getting these terrible things off. Will not be buying again. Mismatched number of nails (I needed a certain size but it didn't have a match, had three sparkly and one plan in the same size), one nail came cracked, and no matter how hard I pressed down the adhesive didn't reach the edges of the nails and the edges are pulling up already (I just did them this morning, following the directions). I also don't like that the adhesive goes almost to the end the nail, so there's lots of adhesive overhang that I can't wait to get all sorts of crud stuck to. We'll see how long they last, but I don't expect them to last long with the edges catching my hair and stuff. Only giving two stars cuz they look like they're supposed to and are very pretty.

Be careful which one you buy. The description says this one has the new adhesive, but the pack I received and the photo of 'rain check' isn't the new adhesive and immediately popped off after a handful of hours. Also the glitter ans metallic nails peeled after a few minutes. I've used the newer press ons and havent had an issue. These ones aren't good and the seller should have a different description.

PROS: +These nails really can handle some abuse WAY better than nail polish for sure! +ZERO chipping +As many designs as humanly possible, range from very intricate, to very natural and neutral. +The best French tips I've ever had +Can be trimmed to any length desired with scissors, no special tools needed. +Can be applied in around 10+ minutes +Super easy application +An excellent option to boost your mood and confidence +Gives a clean and professional look +Average price is around $8 or less! You can have four different manicures a month for the price of one downtown. +No heavy fumes, like at salons +Portable you can apply them just about anywhere CONS: -The nail glue that is included can be messy, it's awkward to handle in my opinion, and can only be used once before it starts to dry out. -Damage can happen to the nail's surface if they are removed too soon. -Discoloration in nails can occur if used too frequently, (may look green or yellow, don't worry it's just your hands telling you to take a break so your nails can get some needed oxygen.) I love Impress Manicures so much that I've incorporated them into my self-care routine and do a "Mani Monday" every week and if you follow the directions well they can last up to 2 weeks. Here's some TIPS TO GET THE BEST OUT OF YOUR MANICURE: 1) I always trim my nails as short as I comfortably can. 2) Push back the cuticles with the orange wood stick. 3) The most important step is to ALWAY USE THE ALCOHOL WIPE. This is the KEY to having your nails adhere well. A clean slate is absolutely crucial. I've also used hand sanitizer in a pinch and it has worked. 4)I HIGHLY recommend purchasing the KISS BRUSH ON nail glue you can even Subscribe and Save. It can be bought here: https://www.amazon.com/Kiss-Powerflex-Brush-on-Glue-0-17-Ounce/dp/B01N1JTY0Q/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=kiss+brush+on+nail+glue&qid=1640060710&sr=8-3 I always apply two coats and press them down for 45 seconds for each nail. 5) When applying be sure to press the nail into the area where the cuticle is to have them look as natural as possible and get the best fit. 6) The shorter they are the less likely they are to catch on things and therefore less likely to pop off. A final tip would be to avoid lotions, oils, and water for the first hour or so to allow the glue to fully cure. I keep a spare brush on glue and the extra nails in my purse in case one ever does pop off. (I'm a primary school teacher so it's a very hands-on job with the littles needing help like prying Legos apart etc. so it's almost bound to happen towards the end of the week.) Lastly, to make removal easy I suggest soaking in a very hot both and applying coconut oil to help weaken the adhesion.
