First time I tried these nails I was able to wear them for 2 weeks! The kit comes with 30 nails, so if you have a problem with one or two, just replace with another. If your hands are always in dish water the warmth of the water will shorten the life of the nail. Wear gloves. If you do not have to do dishes all the time, then no problem! I love IMpress because they already have adhesive tabs on them and are available in various shapes, sizes, and colors. The adhesion time varies though. Some will pop off within hours and others will last for weeks even when all nails are prepared and applied in the same way. One photo shows the nail as it comes and should be on your nail. The second photo shows nails that popped off and were reapplied with additional adhesive tabs (tabs purchased elsewhere). Another bonus, the nails can be filed. ... show more

I read review after review looking for comments on the color of the impress nails (wanted a pink that had more white in it, didn’t want sheer). I also looked at peeps pics in many different impress nails for sale on Amazon. I FINALLY found what I’ve been looking for!! These are the PERFECT color and PERFECT natural length. These came today and I couldn’t wait to put them on! I use the Kiss brush on nail glue first then adhere these. Without the glue, they won’t last, will pop off easily, especially when you get your hands wet. I highly recommend buying the brush on nail glue to use with these. I used to get SNS, but had to adjust my budget and started using the impress nails a month ago. There was a learning curve as I didn’t know how long they would last on their own. I learned after that first week that I needed nail glue because they would pop off easily and at the weirdest times. I now always purchase TWO of one color and l keep a bottle of the nail glue and the extra nails in my purse, in case one comes loose. I would say I can get a good week or even more when using the nail glue with them. Make sure you clean your nails, freeing them of old glue and debris. I file my nails down super short, otherwise I struggle with seeing the back of my nail on the underside of the impress nail and can see the dirt and makeup sit along my real nail line… it’s gross!     • Well, I was wrong.

The media could not be loaded. UPDATE: My original review, from earlier today, that hasn't even been approved yet, is below. Yes, I'm updating this just literal hours after having left a 5 star review. I was convinced that using the proper application techniques (listed below) would guarantee a long wear of these. I submitted my original review around 3 or 4 pm. It's now 10:30 pm (6-7 hrs later) and they've all come off. Every single one of them became so loose that I had to take them off. The kit doesn't come with any replacement sticky bits so I used some I already had. But still they wouldn't stay on. Also, in taking them off they warped a little. Even though I barely had to do much to take them off, some of them still warped. I gave them every chance I could and they were so cute! I had such high hopes! Unfortunately, I can't recommend these. I have other ones from overseas that work so well that I feared I'd be buried with them! They take a month to get here though so I was hoping to find a comparable, quicker replacement. I'll stick with the Belle Rose Nails brand (not on Amazon) and wait the month it takes to get them because it's well worth it compared to these! Same price range too. ORIGINAL REVIEW (I still stand by my application process and that you need to follow the directions on which way to place them): As you can see in my video, the directions very clearly tell you which direction to place them. All the reviews that show them bending are because they've put them on wrong. The rounded edge, where the tab is, goes against your cuticle. The straight flat edge (for this style) goes at the top and can be trimmed and filed. I haven't trimmed mine yet so a few are a little longer but I still love them so far! I just put them on today so I can't comment yet on how long they stay. However, be sure to follow the directions. The directions don't say to do this but I filed the top of my nails gently, vertically (top to bottom not side to side), before using the alcohol wipe. This gives the surface more grip for the nails to hang onto. Also hold down each nail for about 20 seconds. Like it says, don't get them wet or put lots of pressure on them for a few hours. If you don't follow the directions then don't expect them to last for the full 7 days, or longer. I love the colors! There was even enough for my teen daughter to put some on. If these work out good then we'll definitely be getting more styles! ... show more

These are definitely a put on before your event and take off after, kind of press on. They looked amazing. But I was losing them the same day I put them on. They also would gap a little and catch my hair if I ran my fingers through my hair. They were super easy to put on and take off. But after only two days I had replaced at least half of my nails. These nails are a game changer! I never have to worry about water getting under them and causing green nails or having them pop off. I’ve worn these for 3 weeks straight and they are as sturdy as they were I put them on. I’ve even let my 7-year old put them on for me. I’ll never buy another brand.
