These are some of the best fake nails I’ve tried. I’m always looking for short nails and they’re always still so long. Especially in the almond shape! These are actually on the shorter side but I filed them down a bit very easily. The picture was taken after about 8 days and they’re a bit grown out but still holding strong. While they still look a bit fake, they look and fit much better than just about any other nail I’ve tried. The only downside is that I wanted press ons so they’d come off easier and faster, and this only has a glue option. But they don’t lift as much and have felt stronger than press on stickers. I’ll definitely buy them again.

I am pleased with my purchase. The nails are a gorgeous shade and were easy to apply. They were not as short as I was hoping but they were easy to file and shape down to my desired length. They are also thin (not thick and bulky like a full set at the salon) so my personal opinion is that they look much more natural. I hate spending money at the salon for a full set so often I will paint my nails by myself at home, but then the maintenance is easily twice a week; these look like I painted them at home but after 5 days, there has been no chipping of the color or damage to the nails. A few of the nails have popped off and I've had to reglue them but in all honesty, I'm not sure if that's user error (my first time with press-ons) or a glue quality issue. I did purchase a different brand of glue separately that I will use the next time, but so far I'm very happy with these nails!

I LOVE these color. They are a bit more flexible than I am used to. I used glue tabs bc glue has been drying my nails. Not sure how long they will last but they look great.

PROS: +These nails really can handle some abuse WAY better than nail polish for sure! +ZERO chipping +As many designs as humanly possible, range from very intricate, to very natural and neutral. +The best French tips I've ever had +Can be trimmed to any length desired with scissors, no special tools needed. +Can be applied in around 10+ minutes +Super easy application +An excellent option to boost your mood and confidence +Gives a clean and professional look +Average price is around $8 or less! You can have four different manicures a month for the price of one downtown. +No heavy fumes, like at salons +Portable you can apply them just about anywhere CONS: -The nail glue that is included can be messy, it's awkward to handle in my opinion, and can only be used once before it starts to dry out. -Damage can happen to the nail's surface if they are removed too soon. -Discoloration in nails can occur if used too frequently, (may look green or yellow, don't worry it's just your hands telling you to take a break so your nails can get some needed oxygen.) I love Impress Manicures so much that I've incorporated them into my self-care routine and do a "Mani Monday" every week and if you follow the directions well they can last up to 2 weeks. Here's some TIPS TO GET THE BEST OUT OF YOUR MANICURE: 1) I always trim my nails as short as I comfortably can. 2) Push back the cuticles with the orange wood stick. 3) The most important step is to ALWAY USE THE ALCOHOL WIPE. This is the KEY to having your nails adhere well. A clean slate is absolutely crucial. I've also used hand sanitizer in a pinch and it has worked. 4)I HIGHLY recommend purchasing the KISS BRUSH ON nail glue you can even Subscribe and Save. It can be bought here: https://www.amazon.com/Kiss-Powerflex-Brush-on-Glue-0-17-Ounce/dp/B01N1JTY0Q/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=kiss+brush+on+nail+glue&qid=1640060710&sr=8-3 I always apply two coats and press them down for 45 seconds for each nail. 5) When applying be sure to press the nail into the area where the cuticle is to have them look as natural as possible and get the best fit. 6) The shorter they are the less likely they are to catch on things and therefore less likely to pop off. A final tip would be to avoid lotions, oils, and water for the first hour or so to allow the glue to fully cure. I keep a spare brush on glue and the extra nails in my purse in case one ever does pop off. (I'm a primary school teacher so it's a very hands-on job with the littles needing help like prying Legos apart etc. so it's almost bound to happen towards the end of the week.) Lastly, to make removal easy I suggest soaking in a very hot both and applying coconut oil to help weaken the adhesion. that false nails could be so bad? I found out. With Christmas events coming up I wanted my hands to look good. My granddaughter, who’s a nail whiz, put them on for me. I drove home, about 45 minutes. I didn’t have anything to carry, just opened the car door and pushed my ignition button twice. I walked inside and looked at my nails. Three were shredded. Not broken, but tiny ribbons of nail running vertically down to the tips of my natural nails. By the end of the night all but 2 were damaged. I didn’t want to hurt my nails, so I trimmed the false ones close to the tops of my nails. At this length none have broken, shredded, or popped off. They look okay short - but I wanted something special, not short. They were inexpensive, but I would’ve rather paid more for better quality. I gave these three stars, because they’ve been ok cut short.
