My first time using this soap and I don’t know why the skin on my face burns when I wash with this soap, it doesn’t leave the skin on my face irritated or red, it just gives a burning sensation until I wash it all off. I have a simple routine and don’t usually use separate skincare products for my face. So I like natural soaps that I can use all over but no other soap has done that before. I don’t have skin problems but my skin can be sensitive to certain ingredients which is why I purchased the sensitive version. Other than that I do like this soap. It lathers well, leaves me feeling clean, leaves clean fresh scent and has clean ingredients. My skin doesn’t feel dry afterwards. I would buy it again just won’t use on my face.

This soap is just wonderful. It gets you so clean including hair without all the weird added chemicals and dyes that most body wash and shampoos have. I have fairly oily skin so I can't speak for someone that doesn't but this has not dried my skin out at all. It doesn't have a strong fragrance but I really like the way it smells. It doesn't take much either, just a little bit goes a long way and lathers up wonderfully. Really pleased with this soap.

I have used Kirk's Castile soap off and on for many years. My daughter was making soap for me, but I ran out and decided to buy this again. I had never used it on my hair, but decided to today. If you are missing that "squeaky clean" feel and sound when you wash your hair, give it a try. I feel like it washed out any products I had used (I have thin hair), had great lather, and just left my hair clean. I feel that it does exactly that for my skin as well. The other reasons I chose this are the basic ingredients and simple packaging with no plastic to throw away from a body wash product. Some times the simpler the better! The Amazon price is much better than the grocery store price and it came in one day.

So I make our own laundry soap- washing soda, baking soda, essential oil, and simple castille soap. My sister has seven kids and uses this recipe also with this same soap. The soap is easy to grate by hand, super affordable, very effective, and a very healthy alternative for my daughter. I’ll be a regular customer!
