  • Fantastic Value
This little amplifier is really something. I am using it to drive two Edifier Bookshelf speakers with 4 inch drivers. It might not get CRAZY loud but it certainly did not leave me with any complaints. The sound quality is much better than I would expect for something of its size and price. The bass an treble knobs give you just a little bit of tuning capability. I am using it to drive speakers that are connected to my computer but It could be perfect to use with a turn table, or to hook up to your TV to give the sound a little bit more umph. Overall id recommend this amp if you are looking to drive some bookshelf sized speakers and have reasonable expectations for the amount of volume and thump it will make. ... show more

  • Good value for a sweet little amp
I'm a somewhat novice musician using a 25-watt guitar amplifier that connects to my DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) via USB for recording my playing. I needed a way to connect some studio speakers thru the DAW that do not have their own power. This small amplifier does just that. Inputs to the amp for my usage are from one of two sources: my laptop headphone jack or the RCA output jacks of my Behringer UM2 audio interface. Either method drives the speakers quite well. Speakers, BTW, are a pair salvaged from an old unused CD stereo system. So when I'm playing guitar, the output of my DAW is now being heard through the Kinter whether I'm playing through the guitar amp or the UM2. I just have to manually switch cables. The tone controls provide some impact upon output tone but I have other tone control measures at my disposal. The LED is not the least annoying to me as the amp is mostly not in my line of sight. I don't crank the volume up, mostly set at mid-range, and hear no noticeable distortion. The amp stays on most of the day waiting for me to get inspired and pick up the guitar and has not shown any signs of overheating. For now, the Kinter sits atop my guitar amp where access to controls are most convenient. At some point I'll likely find a more permanent location for mounting. Other reviews stated the unit did not last long before dying. So I'm biding my time for a while. I purchased the amp about a month ago. My purchase did arrive with a power supply and in good condition. It does not come with the required audio input cable. I purchased a 10ft RCA male 3.5mm Aux cable to connect to my laptop headphone jack. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B097DQZJFQ?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details Overall, I'm very satisfied with the appearance and functionality of the Kinter amp. And the price ($18.99) fit my limited budget. ... show more

  • Good for old system
The Amplifier is very good. Would love if i had an option to shut the light on the knobs but its not a big issue. I love how it works. I would suggest if there were more output options then it would be more compatible. But does the job.

  • Small and Useful
I use this little amp to be, among other things, part of a "Mobile PA / Sound System" which I build into small cases: 11" x 7" x 5". I will also be using this out in my garage. This amp is a stylish little unit and it works very well. Two RCA inputs jack into the rear of this amp - essentially Left/Right channels, but maybe something more unique. The rear of the amp also has two speaker channels (L/R) which use the clip style connection - the end of a bare wire inserted into a speaker clip. This is all very intuitive to hook-up. The front of this little amp has the Power Button, a Volume Knob, and two equalization knobs - Bass and Treble. The volume knob is circled by an illumination LED that constantly fades from one color to the next. This is not useful but it does seem a bit goofy. The MA170+ amplifier manages to push 18W of pure audio power. So, depending upon the size of the speaker you choose, the sheer volume output will vary slightly. For what I'm doing, this little amplifier is working great. ... show more

  • Great Little Amp
Perfect small amplifier and I love that it included the power adapter. I highly recommend this for remote speaker set-up (which what I use this for).

  • Little amp with great value!
I bought a set of nice passive speakers recently, but I forgot to budget for the amp. Although this amp is more affordable and smaller than most others, I get good sound from it, and it looks nice on my desk. Highly recommend.

  • Great price good sound..
Love the price and it sounds good I had one already had to order new one not sure what happened it stop working thought it was the power supply but no it was unit..

  • Really odd.
Seems that it needs more power as when I max the volume nob it has a tendency to randomly stop and have the audio chip in and out. Did better when I fed it 300W from a power supply but still was unable to max the volume and tinker with the bass adjuster and the treble adjuster. I was probably feeding it too much power but when I dropped it to 120W then to 90W was still randomly chipping in and stopping audio play but at lower volumes. Probably got a defective one, but it still does what it needs to. If you have a bigger budget, go for something of a higher quality. ... show more
