  • Super fast, modular, and perfect for mutliple cards
Style: WFS-U
This thing has significantly reduced the time it takes for me to dump all of the cards from the multiple cameras I during a full day video shoot. It's modular, which is really nice, and I can take a single module with me when travelling if I need to. It's also the right size for me to plug my Samsung SSD into, though that has proven to be slightly unreliable, working maybe 95% of the time and randomly losing connection. That's also why I gave it four stars, as it's not just the SSD losing connection but anything plugged into the included USB slots for any lengthy period of time. I'm definitely going to continue using this thing though, and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to save a lot of time! ... show more

  • The best MicroSD reader with several IMPORTANT unadvertised features
Style: WFS-SDC
The media could not be loaded. This is the best MicroSD card reader I've found. If you have multiple action cameras, GoPros, drones, or dashcams you need to copy files from, you need this. Two MicroSD slots makes a big difference because it means no more fiddling with adapters. Each slot has its own independent blue LED. Constant lit means the card is recognized, blinking means files are being copied, and when you eject the card the LED turns OFF! That's a huge feature because Windows 10 no longer makes it clear to the user when a card is ejected. Since the two readers are separate, you can eject and remove one card while the other is still transferring files and there's no ambiguity over which card is copying. Several times in the past with other readers I've removed the wrong card accidentally because they don't indicate what's going on. It may sound like a minor thing but if you copy a lot of files the LED lights are really helpful! Plus I've discovered it works with the iPad Pro using the included USB-C cable and the reader shows up in the Files app as Untitled ... show more

  • Works as advertised.
Style: WFS-SD
It would be better if it was not so loose when inserted into the main hub but is very good used stand alone.

  • Works perfectly for my Unraid server
Style: WFS-SD
Got this 32 GB drive for Unraid Server so I didn’t waste a larger usb drive. 32 GB and lower seems to hard to find compared to a couple years ago

  • Supports high speed transfers
Style: WFS-SD
My new computer system has a high speed 3.2 USB slot. The Kingston reader can run at top speed via this port. I can put two UHS-II cards in and read them both at the same time if I wanted.

  • Deceptive but works
Style: WFS-SD
This 2 slot Reader works great as long as you only transfer from one card at at time. Once you get both transferring simultaneously speeds drop drastically for UHS II it went from 250MB/s for one card to 40MB/s for one and 150MB/s for the other. For UHS I it was even worse from 155MB/s for one down to 7MB/s and 40MB/s and then bounced around there wildly. One of the reasons I didn't give it 1 star was because when transferring with Sandisk UHS I extreme card (1 at a time of course) it transfers at 155MB/s which is impressive because UHS I is theoretically limited to 104MB/s or 95MB/s in practice. Normally the 155MB/s speed is achieved through Sandisks proprietary tech. Requiring one of Sandisks readers. (not even all of Sandisks readers have this tech btw) As for the limitation of speed when is comes to dual transfers. I find this unacceptable since the limitation is in the way the reader handles the connection and not a limitation of USB 3.0, 3.1, or 3.2. With a 10 port USB hub connected to my pc by a single USB port. And using individual SD card readers I can achieve with 2 UHS I cards at once the non proprietary speeds of 92MB/s. Or with 3 devices 86MB/s on 2 UHS I cards and 180MB/s on a third UHS II card. On a device that is supposed to connect to a hub with other data transfer devices all sharing the same USB connection. if they can't get the speeds worked out on one then I have low expectations to how this would work in combination with the hub. What is the point of a dual slot reader that can't read both slots at once? Kingston dropped the ball on this one. ... show more

  • Reads two cards at once both above card's rated read speeds
Style: WFS-SD
With a SanDisk 128GB Extreme PRO SDXC UHS-I rated for 170MB/s this reader will read anywhere from 250MB/s to 900MB/s. It's so fast I can edit 4K footage directly off of the cards. It's changed my whole workflow around. Highly recommended. Exceeded all expectations. I have it plugged directly into my motherboards USB-C port for max bandwidth. ... show more
