Nothing too special about this Kingston canvas like 16 gigabyte micro SD. It comes in cardboard and plastic packaging much like any of their micro SDs I've seen with a little area that you could hang it if you were to buy it at store. This one also comes with a SD adapter, so if you needed to put it inside something like a computer that didn't have a MicroSD slot you simply put the MicroSD in the SD adapter and then you have an SD that you can put in an SD slot that most typical laptops and stuff have. Overall I pretty much just bought this because of the exceptional price and I plan on giving it to a 11 year old boys so I didn't want to get anything too fancy just something that would work for what we needed. I'm happy with this and I actually might buy a few more as my seven-year-old daughter just got a new phone that has barely any space on it and this will be a good addition to her phone to give her a little extra space for apps and pictures and the like. ... show more

I have been using this brand for several years and have never had one fail. They are class 10, which is important for quality. Many you find at this price are class 4. We use them for all types of storage, but I buy these16gb units for my kids' quadcopters. It is plenty of memory, and when they have rough landings, they have lost a few cards. At the price, it is not a huge deal...not that I tell my kids that. I still have them search for them as if they were lost diamonds. ... show more

I will say the storage isn't exactly the amount it says on it but im also not mad because its even says on the packaging "Actual available capacity for data storage iis less than as listed on the products due to formatting and other functions". ... show more

The manufacturer's venture into microSDHC memory products continues it's stellar legacy. . 2. PRICE: This product is the lowest price for brand names - $1 below SanDisk. . . DISADVANTAGES . 1. There are none. From experience, I have never experienced a defective Kingston brand product. Works exactly as intended. My 3D printer is picky about SD cards. The unofficial wiki listed this as a useable option. Can confirm - this works with the Monoprice Mini Delta! Just keep the FAT32 formatting. Keep the same blocksize if you ever reformat, and the printer will work great. Beyond that? What can I say - its an SD card. I have never gotten a Kingston SD card that did not work and work well. I've never had one quit after working a bit. Kingston SD cards are quality and they last. You might think, at the price these are being offered at, that there is something wrong with them or they're B stock. Not so. They come in retail packaging and are exactly what you'd get if you went to the local store, but at half the price. ... show more

These only last a year or two before they fail. Fortunately, they always fail in such a way that you can no longer write but they're still readable. When that happens, I just copy (dd) to a new microSD and then it's back in service. This brand is no different than any other in that regard, but Kingston's price is reasonable, and you really don't need much space for a single board computer (8GB would be roomy). ... show more
