I had to replace my 25yr rake that had the same features as my husband ran over it with the truck. I was happy to find this rake. The first one I got the handle would not lock at all, so they quickly sent me a replacement and I returned the malfunctioning one. The second one has the same issue, however it will lock I have to tighten it on occasion. I still like this rake, I just wish it would stay tight. Overall it is exactly what I was looking for, I just wish my old one was still useable.

I love the rake as it is easily adjustable. Only problem is that when extended, the pole does not lock tight and always is sliding. That is annoying and should be looked at by the manufacturer

After using the rake many times during the past several weeks, it still works very well for my purposes: light duty raking in delicate, hard to get to small areas such as gardens and flower beds. The rake can be reduced to a perfect size to assist with filling lawn and leaf bags. It is much sturdier than the adjustable rake it replaced.

I've been looking for a rake like this to replace my last one. My last one was all metal also, but heavy. I like that this rake is much lighter weight. I like the adjustable tines, perfect. My only dislike, and that's why I give it 4 stars instead of 5, is that the telescopic pole keeps coming loose. I have to constantly stop, and readjust it. It was probably a great idea, but the execution needs work. Wish they'd made it a continuous handle, like my old one.

Let me start by saying nothing with an adjustable pole will be "perfect" because my experience is that with pressure the pole will come loose. I have found this with rakes and brooks. However, these items do have a place as part of the overall tool chest when you have special situations where the items serves a purpose. Overall this is sturdy construction, well made and having something that has an adjustable "size" is extremely valuable to an avid gardener. I wanted to do a follow up to say that I still find this rake to be a useful item. Today I started to work but didn't reach for this one immediately as it was kind of buried behind some other tools. So I started with the standard rake of pre-determined size. I quickly regretted it and went back to get this rake.

Looked and looked for one of these locally. This is exactly what I was looking for to clean behind and under shrubs. This is much better quality than the one I had bought years ago. It is easy to adjust and works perfectly for cleaning up those tight areas.

I considered several other rakes like this one, but selected it due its more sturdiness and overall quality. It is well constructed and should last for years. Very satisfied and recommend this rake.
