I bought this as an addition to the grill itself as part of a Christmas gift. Here in the bay it rains a lot in the winter. I put this on tightly around the grill and hours later the drip tray (where the grease would go) was FILLED to the max with water. First I thought it might have been slanted rain, wind, or maybe I just didn’t cover it properly. So I decided to try it again, recovered, even put extra items around the grill to keep it tight. The next rainstorm came and again it was filled with water. So upsetting. I don’t recommend this. Waste of money, I’m going to try the brand name cover directly next time even though it’s slightly more $. I don’t know how other reviews can say it’s waterproof because it’s definitely not. And I’m not one to write poor reviews unless I am very upset with a product. I hope this helps others looking for a cover. I think towels would do a better job than this product. Maybe if it doesn’t rain a lot where you live I could see this being a better option but definitely not waterproof. It hasn’t even been 2 months since I bought the grill and it has rust now from water damage. EDIT: Customer service reached out to me and were very nice and apologetic about my experience with the product. I’ve updated my review to 2 stars because the customer support was very nice and gave me a full refund.

The main cover is fine, but the smaller cover for the stovepipe isn’t big enough. Not sure what the point is of making it 3 inches too short.

This is the worst covers I've ever bought. Draw cord takes a ton of effort to use. The material gathers and after 7 efforts to close the bag, I decided this thing take too much effort. Hey, ever hear of a zipper or maybe, velcro? The handle is too flimsy to carrie the grill. Mine tore wit my first carry.
