Hurt my wrists a lot less than I anticipated. I have relatively weak wrists (think 'can't do planks because of wrist pain' weak. It's not extremely bad, but it's still something I was worried about), and I can usually get around 2 hours of constant use before it starts to hurt, and around 4 hours until it's annoyingly so. It looks pretty cute too, which is something I'm very pleased about. The height range is nice— I'm 5'1 and I can comfortably use my cane with and without my 7" platforms (admittedly not the best footwear choice, but I like them). It's definitely not as large as they advertise though. It'd be uncomfortable If I were below 5' or above 5'8". Definitely would not expect it to fit 6'. One thing I noticed was that it can be loud (hollow loud) if it wasn't screwed tightly. Otherwise very quiet. Also, if not screwed tightly, the two halves can definitely come apart with an easy tug (either a good or a bad thing). The foot works well and stands on its own, but it takes a bit to get used to, since it has corners and edges, and it was a bit smaller in diameter than I anticipated. It stands on it's own, but it's not the best in terms of providing balance support. Good on a lot of different surfaces; I feel more confident walking on uneven terrain. We'll have to see how it holds up to wear and tear.

I got this from my aunt as she uses a cane now. I like the fact that this one stands up on its own because her traditional cane would always fall and slide when she tried to lean it against something. Her favorite Carla was blue so it's nice that it comes in different colors and she uses his cane daily now. It's adjustable and looks nice. And so far has been very durable.

I bought this for my mom, thinking it was a HurryCane. My dad uses those and loves them, but when I did the search, this also popped up. My mom liked the blue color (and I assumed it was what I had looked for), so we ordered it. When it came, we realized it didn't go together quiet as smoothly as the Hurrycane, but my mom really liked it anyway. It was easy to adjust to a good height for her, and she feels it gave her good stability. My biggest issue is that the foot is not attached...and I worry about it getting lost (had that happen with a walking stick). It was kinda hard to get on. At first I thought it just wouldn't go on, but with some extra pushing, I got it. Hoping that means it won't come off easily. I didn't feel as though the foot went all the way on, but it was as much as I could do. Nice that it comes in different colors. It will definitely make it easier to know whose cane is whose. Other than the foot, I really don't have any complaints. Let's hope it stays put.

I've been using this cane *a lot* about 18 months. The grip is comfortable and shows no deterioration. With a PT, I initially adjusted the length with the spring loaded button, then thoroughly tightened the nut on the shaft to retain that length setting and re-checked after first use. I've never had that adjustment slip. I've walked *a lot* on concrete, brick, and asphalt sidewalks and the 4 prong rubber tip is wearing well. (See photo) I'm careful on angles like curb cuts, but the tip has never slipped. I don't use the folding function which uses an elastic cord to allow that and hold the cane halves together while in use. I have *zero* reason to suspect that cord might break and the cane come apart but as I don't use that function I may permanently secure that joint with something like heavy duty tape for zero worries. I'm very pleased with the 4 pronged rubber tip. See the photo for how well it has worn versus the large amount of coarse hard surface I've used it on. (Replacements are available. It comes with a 4 prong and a single cane tip) As I wrote, I'm careful on angles but it has never slipped its grip. It's wide enough that the cane reliably stands on its own; I usually don't have to hold it, lean it, etc. Standing on its own, it will indeed fall over in windy conditions or on angles. But I just set it where I can put my toe on one tip. It's not as reliably stand-alone upright as a "quad cane" but that's because the "quad cane" is much wider. I've never had a problem tripping over the four tips of this cane while walking. While in PT I used their very similar cane which was priced over $60 on Amazon. I like theirs, but I've never been disappointed with this one.

My 89 yr old Dad prefers this walking stick over 3 other different ones. He said its not heavy, its sturdy and he likes that it has the foot to make it stand alone for when he needs to use his 2 hands. I highly recommend this walking stick. My Dad was originally against using a cane (which is what this really is) however, by referring to it as a walking stick, it made him feel better about it - doesn't make him feel old :)
