Amazon's Kindle is better than Apple, Android, Television and Movies. If you know how to read, you should buy one, and you will get one of Amazon's greatest values. Not easy to search and update library from this device, but very easy to pick and read once there. Can adjust font style and size as well as brightness. Doesn't allow option to adjust screen time before it falls asleep, but opens right where I left off as soon as I press the button. Sleep screen is cover of current book and is in black and white. Turning pages is a bit of a pain and any touch to the screen can change it making it a little difficult if you hold it with your thumb in the front. Fits perfectly into my small crossbody purse makes waiting in lines so much more enjoyable. I can actively read for about 6 hours before I have to plug it in. Doesn't get hot while charging, so easy to continue reading while it charges. Lighter to hold than my cellphone. Love it, but wish I would have gotten the one in color. Included a book and pen in pics for size reference.

I'm slowly being dragged, kicking and screaming, into the 21st century.
