I’ve had these shaded on my car for a couple months now and I can’t be more happier. Yes these shades can be on the driver and front passenger side of the car which I need since I’m a pale colored person taking whatever precautions to not get burned when possible. There’s 4 in the pack 2 that give the illusion of being tented but able to see everything around without trouble when driving and the other 2 are the actual tented which I have not used since I’m the only one in the car and I need to look at all my surroundings while driving. The shades go up on the inside of the car it clings onto the windows easily and come off easily to when needed. I would only have to say if you want to lower your window for any reason you’ll have to take the shade off because it can’t go down with the window wish they made them like that but I’m still happy with the shades overall ... show more

We have been doing a lot of summer road tripping in hot climates, and these have been a life saver. Not only do they keep the sun off the backseat passenger, they also block significant heat. We had stuck them to our dining room window to test them out, and the spots between them where the sun shone through, the carpet was warm, but in the shadow of these, it was cold! When we park the car, we put these up in the windows and the car is a lot cooler than it used to be without them. My kids also figured out a way to prop them on the dashboard to block the sun when we were driving west in the evening, and it didn't interfere with my view out the passenger window or of my mirrors. One side is the uv fabric, and it comes in total blackout or a more transparent fabric, 2 of each, and the backside is vinyl like the vinyl window clings you can decorate with. They stick on completely and stay forever. I will say that the extreme heat wave this summer in the southwest did make that vinyl soft enough that they fell off the windows when it was parked. But driving-these are a game changer! ... show more

Window shades pop open easily and adhere to window easily. Work great at blocking the sun. The problem is, I felt they were too dark for me to safely see out my back windows for changing lanes, so I am not able to use these sunshades.

These shades do not use suction cups but a film that adheres to the window glass. This method works far better than the suction cups and I much prefer how Kinder Fluff works because it offers offers better ability to adjust placement of the the screen.

The media could not be loaded. My car is not scorching hot when I use these window cling-on shades in addition to my Disney Stitch front shade. For reference:I have a small 2007 dodge caliber, the windows are not tinted, and it can get very hot. Pros: It’s an easy on and off application due to the cling-on feature. Use window cleaner to clean and dry your windows and then just press the screen on to the glass. You can peel them off the glass and stick them to each other when storing, to keep them clean. Nice and easy! The inside of the car is much cooler and the AC cools the inside to a comfortable temp much quicker. I smoothed it out gently with my hand but it looks bubbly from the outside looking in (see exterior pic) and although you may not find it unattractive, it’s ok with me. I’m trying to keep cool here 😉. Con: 1. You can’t lower the window (at least not in my car, don’t know if anyone else tried) because there is a thick wire around the edge to help stiffen it up. 2. The rear ones may create an uncomfortable blindspot and the front driver side may cause visual distortion. *My 24 year old daughter borrowed my car to use for work, while her car is getting serviced. She finds that the rear ones are too dark and distracting, and they create a blind spot, and she can’t look out the driver window because the screen makes it hard to see. *For me, well, it’s meant to be dark and I said “Use your side mirrors dear,” lol. No. JK, I told her to peel them off and stick them to each other and just plop them on the glass when she arrives at work to keep the car from getting so hot while it’s parked. I, myself, did find it hard to see through the mesh, screen-like fabric while merging into traffic. I had to lean forward and peep around it because in a bright sunny day, it’s hard to see dark color vehicles coming towards you. I find that the reason for this is because of the mesh fabric, since this isn’t a sheet/window tint it’s more like looking out a porch screen, if that helps. Suggestion: I prefer to drive without the driver side on the glass. Further away has better visibility, meaning I can see through it when I look across towards the front passenger side window, but find it difficult to look through it when it’s an inch from my face. It distorts my vision. It’s safer to drive with them off, in my opinion, and slap them on the glass when the car is parked. This is a temporary need until hubby tints the windows for me, something to create shade, and keep the sun from heating up the inside of my car to an inferno 😉. So if your car does not have tinted windows and you need shade like NOW, these are a quick solution, especially if you have young children (besides summer is only a few months), you can always keep and store for next summer to help provide some extra shade. ... show more
