It's ok but it does leave a bump even though you smooth it flat. It is nice that it includes several different colors and a little container to mix them in so you get a close match to your damaged seat

At the time of this review this item was priced at $16.99. The leather and vinyl repair kit includes: 10 color repair compound, spatula, mixing jar, brush, backing fabric, and instruction and color match guide. The company (KIKYO) offers an array of leather and vinyl repair kits specially for black and brown. This kit with its 10 colors offers greater flexibility to match many leather vinyl repairs. I used the color guide to mix the repair compound, but It took some time to get the correct color match. The instructions was straightforward, but the repair should be conducted when the temperature is above 60°F to allow the compound to properly cure. Overall I'm pleased with this product.

Does not have the color I was looking for, needed gray. Does not have the color chart to show how to mix colors to get to get the right shade. Would have to return it

This kit has everything you need to make a seamless leather repair. I love that it comes with so many mixable colors so you can match it up just right. Time will tell how long it holds, but so far so good. Good buy!!

The above photo is after only one coat, which I didn't worry about trying to color match. I'm sure based on the color palette they provide I won't have a problem with a final matching coat. But I wanted to make sure it would do the job before I put that much time into it. This is now 2 weeks old and holding up. Obviously in such a wear area, at least one more coat will be needed. If you ever used any of the old vinyl repair kits you'll consider this a godsend. The old ones require not just color matching, but then you need to put a special piece of paper over it then heat it up for just the right amount of time to get it to harden and then hope you could sand off any edge you left. This nice kit lets you just smooth it on without worrying about any of that. I took off a star because I think using this on a direct wear area might be risky and at the least time consuming because you need to let it dry well between coats. But if you have situations like mine this will do the trick.
