I purchased four of these chairs. None came damaged or with any loose bolts. I use them for my kids sporting events. They are light weight and easy to fold and go back into their bags fairly easily. Pros - sit up higher than other camping chairs. I’m 5’8 with long legs and love this. - I can comfortably sit in this with my preschooler in my lap and not feel cramped or at risk of collapsing. -wide leg base - big, wide seat…there’s plenty of extra room and I’d imagine those with wider hips wouldn’t have too much trouble or be squished. I have a larger bodied family member who sometimes finds seats too narrow was able to sit in this comfortably. - Firm, in a good way. You don’t sink down in this seat so it’s easy to get in and out of (at least if you aren’t short). -two cup holders - Was able to hold a family member close to 300 pounds comfortably without us worrying my loved one would get injured or that the chair would fail. Cons- - I personally haven’t had any issue with this, but my petite, 70 year old mother finds them a little too big and her feet dangle which makes her legs fall asleep after a long time sitting in these chairs. - I am hesitant to really flop down hard into these chairs. I haven’t had trouble with tipping or buckling, but because they are so light weight I’m a little suspicious of sitting down fast and heavily, I might be wrong about this, but better safe than sorry! - Also not a con for me personally, but these are not compact when unfolded. They are wide and tall. If you want things for a small space these are probably not the best for you. ... show more

    • Best outdoor chairs we have ever owned

Over 50+ years of marriage, many of them including camping in various rigs from tents to pop up to a fifth wheel, we have gone through many 'lawn chairs'. Some broke, other were not comfortable to sit in, others wore out. We finally got our hands on these after trying our son's. The are super comfortable to sit in, no cutting off circulation on your legs. They have generous sized cup holders as well. I can sit in them for hours - just ask my wife! They seem sturdy. Our first set (still in fine shape) have been through two years of use. We travel seasonally and these are our main outdoor furniture for 2-3 months at a time. I like the fact that they lock in position, either open or folded. They have a carry strap attached to the chair. They also come with a bag but we have never used those. My lovely bride sometimes cannot find the button to pop them open or close them but she always manages. The fact that they lock open is great. If you've ever sat around a camp fire you know you have to move. Just stand up and drag the chair. It won't fold up on you. We think these were a great initial purchase. We ordered another pair for home use. Great product. Worth the money. ... show more

Purchased 4 of these when we planned to attend an outdoor concert & didn't want to sit on the ground. We were NOT disappointed. You'll notice they're over 9 lbs, which isn't exactly lightweight, but the carrying bag makes it easy to sling one over your shoulder & maneuver easily thru a crowd- I'd estimate (in the bag) each is about a yard long & as big around as a 6" plate. The chairs are full-sized & quite easy to get in & out of the bag. The set-up is as easy as pressing the release button & giving the chair a minor push open. We four 70 yr olds sat very comfortably for almost 3 hours. There's a drink holder in each arm, one shallow & one deep, to accommodate your beverages. The nylon fabric makes for easy cleaning should you spill something. They seemed to be very sturdy & were stable feeling on a grass surface. Our friends liked the chairs so well they decided to purchase some to give as gifts(!) If you want full-sized & comfortable, these are a great choice. ... show more

This is so much better than my cheap fold up chairs. It is comfortable even for my 6”4 husband to sit it. He asked me to get him one as well. So far it has held up an entire soccer season. It is the perfect height, you don't sink into it like other camping chairs, and it has two cupholders that you feel confident putting your drinks in and they are the perfect size for most drinks. Going on 4 years use. No complaints at all. Comfortable and easy to fold and transport. Only complaint....every one else uses it before I get to sit in it. 😆 2 cup holders on arms, small and larger one. Easy to get up from and no sagging when you sit down. Rated for heavier persons which is a plus, since we're not tiny ppl. Recommend highly. Prices have gone up considerably since I purchased mine, but should mine need replaced....I'd pay the extra.
