I had not heard of the Kiehl's brand before but I was impressed with the photos and description on the seller's listing. I made a great choice because I was impressed with the products and list of ingredients as soon as I unpacked them. I had already shaved the first day so I used the Facial Fuel Invigorating face wash and really liked how it made me face feel. I then grabbed the Facial Fuel which is their moisturizer for men and it felt so good as I applied it all over my face, forehead, and even my neck. The next day I tried out the shaving cream called the Ultimate Brushless Shave cream and found it to be a nice consistency and prevented my sensitive skin from having any nicks or cuts while shaving. After I rinsed off the remaining cream and applied plenty of water to clean my face, I then applied their after shave lotion called Ultimate Razor Burn and Bump Relief and it did feel great on my skin like all their other products. I have to say that this has been one of the better men's line of shaving products that I have tried in the last few years. I like that they seem to use quality ingrediants because of how well the products worked for my sensitive skin. I am glad I took a chance on the brand and am a new fan at least.

Kiehl's Facial Fuel men's starter set is a great standard size set for those new to Kiehl's products. The set includes a 2.5oz Facial Fuel Invigorating Face Wash, 2.5oz "close shavers squadron" shave cream, 2.5oz "close shavers squadron" ultimate razor burn and bump relief, and a 2.5oz facial fuel invigorating moisturizer. The face wash definitely wakes you up in the morning with the caffeine and menthol. I like that it does not leave your face feeling dry but actually feeling clean. The moisturizer is amazing. I love how it absorbs quickly into the skin and doesn't leave your face feeling oily, but rather moisturized. The shaving cream works as expected and little goes along way. As far as the razor burn after shave goes it leaves the skin feeling nice and moisturized as well, since I don't get any razor bumps, I can't speak to the effectiveness of preventing them. Overall this is a great set for those wanting to try Kiehl's products and not sure where to start or for those already familiar with Kiehl's products and needing a travel size set.

I'm happy with the face wash and moisture treatment. I have dry skin, and this isn't a miracle cure, but it seems to work as well as anything I've used. I like the scent. It's pleasant and not too strong. The "invigorating" feature is there. You definitely feel that you have used it. I don't know how to describe the feeling. It's not the same, but you might compare it to when you rub icy hot into your skin. The only thing I don't like is the price.

Like a mini apothecary on my bathroom counter. This is a great starter set for anyone looking to dive into the Kiehl's brand. They always deliver quality products, but it can be a little overwhelming if you're standing in the middle of a department store trying to figure it all out. This gift set gives you 4 standard sizes that will set up your morning from start to finish. The collection is made for gifting...but this one is all mine. The face wash wakes you up with caffeine and menthol, without drying your skin out like so many alcohol-based products. The shave cream has another blast of menthol that cools your skin and helps eliminate razor drag. (A little goes a long way.) The after-shave is great for calming down your skin. I like the inclusion of aloe vera. (Full disclosure, I don't suffer from ingrown hairs or bumps, so I can't testify to how this one works for those issues, tho I do have a lot of gym buddies who swear by it.) And then you finish off the process with the facial fuel moisturizer. Bonus points for the Vitamin C that always brightens my mug. An awesome way to stock up on some of your favorites. Or like I noted, an easy place to start if you're new to the Kiehl's game.

This is a great little kit of men's grooming supplies. The weather is changing and my skin always dries out, so the moisturizing face wash is great. The scent is not overpowering, but rather light and fresh. The moisturizer quickly absorbs into the skin without feeling heavy or oily, a little of this product goes a long way! The cleanser is also very good, I used a round cotton pad and just cleaned up my nose with it. This is a good all around kit and it would make a good gift. I found the scent good and not overpowering.

This is a complete shaving set. It's marketed towards men in terms of scent and packaging but would obviously work for women and nb folks as well. The products are all 2.5 oz (so 10 oz total) which makes them good for travel and also if you want to try the products out without committing to a full size bottle. Skin-care is so subjective so I've included thorough pictures of the packaging and products for those looking for more specifics (permanent marker for scale and apologies for the two side package pictures that will not upload vertically for some strange reason). Overall, if this is in your budget, it's a very nice shaving set from a trusted luxury brand in skin care and it seems quite gift-able!

If you are familiar with Kiehl's products, you know how good they are. If you want to try their men's products, this is a great way to sample several of them. The scent is very fresh but mild. Once applied, the scent is hardly noticeable and then dissipates quickly. I especially like the moisturizer and the after-shave gel. Kiehl's products are not cheap, but they are very good. I don't mind spending a little extra money for some pampering of my face.
