I love this rain suit! For the 4/5 size range, there's a lot of one-piece suits but not a lot of two-piece suits like this one, so I was thrilled about that to begin with (shoving this kid into a one-piece is not an easy task). The material seems nice and durable, while still being small/light enough to pack up small and bring with us. The hood has elastic around the edge to make it a snug-to-the-face fit, which seems to annoy him less than having a hood with an overhang that then blocks his vision and he gets sick of it and then...no more hood. From my own experience with hoods, this might mean that on a girl with a ponytail you might have not quite enough room in the hood for the hair, but on a boy or a girl with either short hair or a low ponytail or something, I think it's a good feature. ... show more

Seems good quality. First received incorrect size and a HH one. This one is equivalent to HH. Runs true to size. My 9 year old may get a year use out of it based on size for 8-9. Time will tell how well made it is.

My 6-year-old is a bit overweight and this is really comfortable for her. A lot of the one piece suits don't fit her. This has a nice flexible waistband and is roomy enough for her to close it all the way with some room.
