If your child likes to bike ride or skate this is a great verst to keep him safe. It fit my 50lb five year old just a bit big but not too much. He was able to use it while bike riding and it stayed on. The only thing is that it could get a bit hot while wearing it so maybe not use it for long periods and get a break every so often. I like that that it has a zipper to put it on easier and a velcro belt to make it snug if needed. The shoulder pads have a bit of a weird fit but I'm sure it depends on the size of the kid, maybe on a taller kid it will fit better. It is easy to clean, I just sprayed it with a cleaner and wiped it and hanged it in the garage to air it out for next time. ... show more
