    • Much punier than shown in pictures
The pictures are very misleading. It looks like a small desk with many pieces of instruments and it looks sturdy. But actually it is way smaller than it looks. It's a tiny piece of panel. The wooden is thin and too lightweight such that kids can easily turn it over and mess up the instruments. The wind chimes are not made of iron / steel, more like thin aluminum. They do not make the same sound as real wind chimes. I don't think my kid will enjoy playing this toy and be in love with music. ... show more

We love that this percussion set includes so many choices for a child that also provides the striking tools: there is a set of large drumsticks for the larger drum, a small set for the smaller drum, a striker for the triangle and chimes. A hex screwdriver is also part of the set for removing and replacing the screws for mounting the legs and stands. The instructions were a bit off. Remember to remove all the screws first. The chimes are already strung for easy placement. An adjustable Velcro closure wrist bell set adds another musical choice--possibly replacing a tambourine effect-- easier for a child. This took a short amount of time to assemble. Your child needs you to do this. Two drums, a small wood attached clacker, triangle, chimes and wrist bells gives your child freedom to create a wide variety of mixed music. Great quality, sturdy, smooth parts, a nice finish provides value for your purchase. I took it apart to transport to another area by car. Easy to disassemble, so keep those bags. The grandsons laughed and made up tunes to sing to their favorite songs including 'Old MacDonald had a Farm' with many verses! Highly recommend! ... show more
