    • Binding Issues

I bought a very similar area rug from this company's website. I paid about $300 for the rug. When I received the rug, some of the binding had come undone, either from company defect or through shipping. As their return policy states, I returned the rug to have the error fixed. The company paid for the shipping and mending of the binding. Once the rug was repaired and shipped back to me, I used the rug in my classroom for about 2 months (with limited carpet time use in a 3rd grade classroom) when the binding began to unravel again in the same place. After contacting the company again regarding the defect, the company claims they did their job at repairing the binding and for any further repairs that are needed, I'll have to pay for shipping. I can foresee this as an ongoing process for years to come because the original binding issue was never truly fixed. The fix was only temporary (long enough for my warranty to end). I wouldn't suggest buying a rug from this company if every 3 months you have to pay to ship it back for repairs. As you can see in my photo, I tried using a hot glue per their recommendations to stop it from unravelling further, but that only made a mess on my rug. I bought this used and it was in pristine condition. My students love it and have sworn to take care of it ( endlessly ratting out anyone who would seek to destroy it). It’s great to know no one could ever take it from me and it will move with me from grade to grade and from school to school.

    • Perfect for our Kindergarten Class
We bought this for my son's kindergarten class as a gift. They have desks they usually use, but when it comes to carpet time for stories, etc. these cute little 5 year olds have absolutely no personal space! They're all squished and even after you space them out, they end up scooting and squishing again. Very funny, but also very distracting to one another. Now each child has their own square which is 2ft x 2 ft. The rug took about 10 days for delivery. I was soooo happy with the look of it and very impressed with the quality. It is soooo nice!!! I wasn't sure what to expect since I didn't see it in person. I didn't purchase through Amazon, though, but directly through kidcarpet. I would highly recommend this carpet for a classroom. I know they have lots of different types of rugs which I am sure is the same high quality. When I originally began searching for rugs for the kindergarten class, I was shocked to see how much they cost. Minimum $500. So, I was very happy to see this was much less. ... show more

No classroom carpet is a cheap, but this one is just beautiful and complete quality. I am so glad I got this through a grant, and my students just love it! As recommended by other teachers I tried to stay away from carpets with yellow because the light colors get dirty faster. But this one is easy to maintain and you can spot clean it with a Clorox wipe, or baby wipe. I loved this one, and I looked at several before choosing this one. ... show more
