Review: Perfect Bookshelf for Toddler Room This bookshelf is a great addition to our toddler’s room! While it came with a lot of parts, just like Ikea, the tools and instructions were easy to follow, making assembly straightforward. The quality is excellent, and I love that it includes straps to securely attach it to the wall, ensuring it won't tip over if my baby tries to pull on it. It's the perfect height for my 1-year-old—she can easily reach her own toys and books, encouraging independence. Overall, it's a sturdy and safe bookshelf that’s perfect for a toddler’s space!

I originally ordered this for my son's room but it's a little too small for my plans. This does not affect star rating as measurements were provided beforehand - I have a similar sized toy/book organizer that I was looking to replace but it was hard to plan out without having the actual unit. It was packaged well - no broken/damaged pieces and everything was accounted for. Each piece comes in plastic that labels what is what; the pieces themselves aren't labeled so I'd recommend leaving them in the plastic until assembled. It comes with everything needed for assembly...basically just an Allen wrench. Assembly took me about an hour. The instructions were mostly clear. The only thing a little confusing was when it came to the screws. The 4 longer ones are used for attaching the side pocket. The assembled piece is fairly sturdy. It does come with wall anchors. I have concrete walls so I can't use them, but since my son is a little older they're not needed. It's a cute toy and book organizer but it will be used elsewhere. The reason for 4 vs 5 stars is because the quality of the manufacturing of the pieces could use some work. Quality of the material itself is good -wood is particle board but thick and sturdy; metal framing is okay. Not all pieces fit flush. When installing the screws into the board (pre-drilled holes), they just keep turning and never fully tighten. I didn't want to strip the wood so I didn't push it. The unit itself is white except the fabric book shelf is a beige; the hardware is also all silver and not flush so it's noticeable. Not a huge deal to me but might play a factor for some.
