We just put this on up. So my review might not be fair. I will come back by end of a month to post an update. So far, the bookcase is cute. Its perfect for my 3yo its definitely not for a 5+ Its tiny. Its not made of the best wood. But it works. We got it for 69usd. I see now it is 91usd. I would not have bought it for 91usd as there are similar or better ones for the same price. The regular 10x10 bins do not fit in the cube spaces. I managed to some how put in 2 of the 10x10 bins on the end spaces. The middle 2 spaces are smaller and there is no way you can fit a 10x10 bin there. So far im pleased with it. Works for us. My 3yo and 9mo seem to like it quite a bit too. Hope to come back in few months to post an updated review. . إن شاءالله EDIT Its been a month. Still good. The only complaint i have it that the seat cushion is not removable so im not sure how to wash it. Still love the product tho. ... show more

I love this. It's not as high as the picture might suggest (I think it's only 2 feet tall) but it works for us and our smallish rooms. I purchased two, one for m 3 year old and one for my 5 year old. They were mostly easy to put together. For the first one, the back panel is supposed to go on last but the holes were not aligned. We redid the slanted side boards thinking that maybe something wasn't screwed in tight enough but that didn't fix the problem. So for both we ended up putting the backboard on after the slanted side boards and then finished with the top two pieces (directions say to do the backboard last). It still wasn't perfectly flush but it works. With all of the furniture I've put together I have yet to have one where every corner and piece is completely flush and where it is supposed to be. The wood seems durable; stronger than some Target/Walmart pieces I've purchased. The cushion has a zipper all around so it can be washed. I'll probably air dry it because I'm paranoid about these shrinking in the dryer. It actually fits more books than I thought it would. The lower cubbies don't fit our tall, full sized books but the top books fit all of them and we have a lot of books. Pictured is my 5 year old. I know she might look uncomfortable but she really does love this space. ... show more

The reason I'm not completely satisfied is because those foldable fabric storage boxes don't fit. I read reviews and questions and many said they did. I am not sure if I got a smaller product then other people? However, we are still pleased. I bought some of those tinny storage boxes from dollar General and those work okay. Wish the bigger fabric ones would have worked but it's good. Smaller than I thought (18 month old im pictures for scale). Yet, product is still great. Very sturdy and it looks awesome. My son loves it. He actually sits still when i read to him now. And as tinny as he is he can crawl up amd sit down on the cushions without my help. So everything worked out. ... show more

I’m soooo disappointed with this product. I was so excited for it to arrive because I could envision my son curling up with a book in the little seat and it matched his new room. Well, I usually put this stuff together myself but my guy friend offered and I needed the help. I wanted to blame him until I read the other reviews and it seems like many people had the same problem. We have both put together many items of furniture in our lives so we aren’t beginners. The boards were so flimsy and cheap and I believe some of the hardware was defective. There is a nail sticking out of the side that we cannot get out with Allen wrench or pliers. We are both strong and tried everything. I don’t even think I’ll be able to take it apart to return it. It also damaged the board. This used to be $75 and some how it went up to $105 and I really wanted it for my son so I spent the money. Now I regret it! Even if the nail wasn’t sticking out on the side this should only be $50 MAX. It’s cheap and a lot smaller than it looks in pics too. (Yes, I read dimensions before purchasing but still shelves seem tinier in person). Very disappointing and I hope I can get my money back. ... show more

I bought this for my son's bedroom. Don't be fooled by the weight limit on this bench, but definitely don't push it I would feel bad if you or your kiddos got hurt. I am not a little kid, my son is 9 years old and he loves to sit by his window on this and read. I am a short, heavy chick and I carried the box upstairs and had it all assembled in less than an hour. Then, because I have boys I tested it like they would. I stood on it, I jumped on it, I laid on top of it and tried to scratch it with Tonka trucks. This bench will take whatever you can throw at it even if you weigh 200lbs. Nice finish. *Side note, pick up some Never Wet and spray down the cushion to avoid staining from the kids. ... show more
