This kit is truly one of the best children’s toys that I have ever seen! I always love a product for kids that involves a fun creative process yet also yields something that they can be excited about. This definitely delivered. It was so much fun for all the kids using it! It is very functional and offers so many opportunities for kids to be creative and is open ended enough for all ages to enjoy. Little ones will enjoy squeezing gel into the molds and seeing their squishies come to life, while older kids will spend time making more detailed creatures and enjoy learning about the processes that make the squishies come to life. We have my nieces and nephews over often and between them and my own kids, there are 10 kids between the ages of 3-10, each with their own unique interests. It is so rare that I can find activities that captivate all of them. They were all enchanted by this kit and spent 2 full hours decorating their Squishies and watching in awe as they transformed from gel in a mold into 3 dimensional works of art that they can keep. This kit comes with everything you need. Other than tap water, you do not need any other household items or ingredients. The process is simple. To get started, you fill the provided plastic container with water and add the magic powder. Then you decorate your Squishies in the molds using the gel. Once your squishy is designed, place the mold in the water, let it sit for a few seconds until the edges lift a bit, then lightly shake it so that the squishy pops out of the mold. You’ll want to let your squishies sit in the water with the magic powder for 4 hours to set, then you can handle them but should store them in regular water using a jar that’s provided. The colors are vibrant and the Squishies are surprisingly thick and durable. The entire kit is well made, and holds up well to little hands. What I love most is how well it blends art and science. While the kids are having a blast creating their works of art, they’re also learning the basics of chemical reactions and material transformation—without even realizing it! Everything is thoughtfully designed and easy to use, making it perfect for a rainy afternoon, birthday party activity, or spontaneous crafts. It is a great value and offers plenty of materials to use again and again. This kit would make a great gift for any child over the age of about 3. It’s fun for all ages (even adults!) and provides a great creative outlet while also teaching about science. It is open ended, keeps kids occupied for quite a while, and is easy to use. All in all it’s just a really great product for kids and I highly recommend it!

This is a creative "squishy" water elf kit that comes with 24 colorful Magic Gels (some have special effects like color changes and glow in the dark), 6 Glitter Powders to enhance your gels and 20 molds of all different creatures. It is intended for ages 3 and up but the younger kids (3 to 5 especially) will need help and supervision. Happily, the gels are non-toxic. Your little creators are able to mix gel colors in the molds, so there are infinite color possibilities. After the squishy is designed, you place it in the water/magic powder solution - you can either use the kit container or a similar sized container of your own choosing. It takes a little bit for the edges of the mold to start to release but when they do you just need to jiggle the mold to get the squishy out of it. They need to stay in the magic solution for quite a while - even overnight - but after that they can be transferred using the net into the little star bottle filled with plain water. This can be a bit of a messy delight, so a vinyl tablecloth may be in order. The emphasis on DELIGHT, though!! Great fun for kids and adults, lots of ingredients and this is a wonderful gift for any child. The kit is somewhat expensive, but the amount of ingredients makes it a creative extravaganza and long-lasting fun.

The media could not be loaded. This is a an absolute blast, it has quickly become one of kids favorite activities. Finding something that holds the interest of multiple ages that is gender neutral is hard, but my 3 kids ages 7, 9, 11 ALL love this kit! They have spent hours quietly creating and completely content so as a mom this gets my full endorsement!!! Usage: The molds are all individual so they can be added to the water solution as you go. With so many mold options we never had an argument over them. They need to sit in the water solution for several hours, so know that in advance. Once ready to come out of the mold just work the edges a bit then jiggle. It's very easy to use and can be done by children without help. There are 20+ vibrant gel colors to choose from and they can even be mixed, some are color changing and glow in the dark as well! On top of that there are 6 different colored glitters that can be added for some added wow. The possibilities for creativity are just limitless with this set. It comes with absolutely everything you need except water to create custom squishies. The convenient storage box also doubles as the bath for setting the gel. This set is high quality and durable from the box to the actual squishies you make. The Squishies come out with great color pigmentation and don't tear easily. For everything you get in this kit the price is excellent. The quality product and creative play time is well worth it.
