Things I love: I absolutely love the light that comes with the set! It's easy to do each finger and really make sure it's under the light. Directions are a breeze! Very easy to follow. Nail sizes actually fit my fingers which is a surprise! My bestie and I do our nails and there are still plenty of sizes to pick through. It's a good amount provided! They are also easy to clip and file. Things I feel could be different but don't bother me that much: Nails are a little thin. I don't use acrylic; gel polish doesn't add much height. The builder is thick so a little goes a long way! I'm surprised they haven't come out with a better solution for this like a squeeze bottle (without brush) to apply a dot then press the nail on. The top coat brush gets stuck quickly. I need to buy a brush cleaner bottle. Overall I suggest this for nail biters (like me) or people with short nails beds as well as for others! Just got the kit yesterday and of course had to try out right away. This kit for the most part is very easy to use. Like a lot of other people I watched several you tube videos on what kind of technique to use to get nail on properly. This is my first set. The trick was turning on flash cure light then applying nail and placing under light.. Will update once I have them on for longer than a day. ... show more

Product is easy to use but I'm a woman with wide thumb nail beds. The 0 size in this kit is to small. Wish the kit would come with couple sizes bigger.

Great, very easy to use. I have to practice when curing that I get all the air bubbles , but the time frame to do this took 30 mins. Another 30 to apply gel polish .

After watching a lot of videos from professional nail techs and doing my own research, this was my first dip into Gel X at home. I have used gel polish at home before and have been doing my nails at home for well over a decade. This set was nice since since it came with (almost) everything you need, and thats about where the advantages end. First, the builder gel had so many bubbles in it that it didn’t matter how many attempts or how precise the application, it was just going to bubble no matter what which is really not a good thing. Additionally, I have since gotten myself a different lamp for the flash cure step because it was hard to keep everything together and maneuver under the light. Everything else was “meh” at best. I didn’t love that the tips weren’t pre-filed on the inside which just adds another step, and now I have other, better tips on the way. The “prep”, “primer”, and “top coat” steps were fine. ... show more
