I love these nails and the entire kit - I watched a ton of videos in advance of buying it, and while you have to be sure to follow the instructions to-the-letter, the kit is relatively easy to use, and each time I've used it since I've gotten better and better at it. They hold well as long as you don't put too much or too little builder gel underneath, and the polish needs to be wiped with rubbing alcohol after the top coat is cured (that's not explained in the instructions, but it's a must to make sure they're not tacky/sticky). They lasted three weeks, and I actually would have had them on longer if I didn't get impatient to switch up the design.

Things I love: I absolutely love the light that comes with the set! It's easy to do each finger and really make sure it's under the light. Directions are a breeze! Very easy to follow. Nail sizes actually fit my fingers which is a surprise! My bestie and I do our nails and there are still plenty of sizes to pick through. It's a good amount provided! They are also easy to clip and file. Things I feel could be different but don't bother me that much: Nails are a little thin. I don't use acrylic; gel polish doesn't add much height. The builder is thick so a little goes a long way! I'm surprised they haven't come out with a better solution for this like a squeeze bottle (without brush) to apply a dot then press the nail on. The top coat brush gets stuck quickly. I need to buy a brush cleaner bottle. Overall I suggest this for nail biters (like me) or people with short nails beds as well as for others! It's a great kit :)

I tried these out and was very pleasantly surprised at how well they held up and stayed on. I’m really hard on my nails as I am a hard core gardener. I was impressed. They are quite time consuming to apply so allow for over an hour. Still, it’s cheaper and more convenient than a salon. Also, I like the ability to reapply a nail at home if it pops off rather than make a trip to a salon. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is my gel bottle is defective. It doesn’t allow the brush to come out or go in easily. So much so that pulling the brush out actually causes it to come out of the handle/lid. It won’t go in without forcing it which splays the brush hairs backwards. This makes for messy application. I won’t be able to use the gel topper. I will be forced to order a new bottle. Not happy about that for the price I paid. Also, the nails arrived all jumbled up and loose in the box. I had to spend an hour sorting them back out by size into their correct compartment before I could get started. Very frustrating. Otherwise, it’s a great product and I think you will be pleased with it.

Wouldn’t even give this one star if I had the option. I watched multiple videos of how to use this product, I followed the direction booklet precisely, even contacted the company directly for advice, and yet in 48 hours I have had to do three sets. Because they keep peeling off. These might be great for some people, they do look good. But they certainly won’t last. After trying them out, I found out that they won’t let you return them even within 30 day timeline. So now I’m stuck with a useless product, and I’m out 100 bucks. Definitely not worth wasting money on.

Firstly I would like to say I purchased this on a whim and I have been satisfied thus far. You will need to purchase additional things in order to use this kit to its full potential though. You will need nail files (or an e-file), buffers, gel polish cuticle oil and I also recommend purchasing a larger UV/LED nail lamp. The kit does include a UV lamp but it is very small and only cures one finger at a time, which is fine for the gelly tip application (as you can only apply one at a time when following the directions anyway) but for painting your nails you will want a 4-5 finger lamp. This kit does NOT include any gel color polish so you will need to purchase some, but it does include a gel top coat that I think works great. I work in healthcare which requires me to constantly wash my hands and lift/maneuver heavy things so far I find that the nails seem to stay on. The set I have on now has been on for 4 days and they still feel secure. There is a learning curve with the application process (using the right amount of builder gel, selecting tips that fit appropriately, nail shaping, etc) but if you mess up you can soak the tips off in no time with acetone or simply pop them off with a bit of force and reapply new ones. Overall I believe I will continue to use this kit and perhaps cut out my nail salon trips all together.

This is an update from my initial review. I have done a few sets since I purchased this kit. I have not had but two successful attempts with this product. Which means the nails dtayed on for at least a week, which isnt that successful. The other set was because of normal wear. For the money that this kit costs, I should have better results. I follow the instructions, but I am not happy at all at this point. So I have to revise this review...This kit is not worth the money. I just did a set two days ago and i lost seven of the nails in on day. I redid my nails last night and as of me writing this four nails have come off. Smh This is the best kit I have purchased so far, but why does it have to cost sooo much? I started doing my won nails by trial and error and a lot of error! I have tried so many different nail kits and nails products. I just want ten nails that look the same and are pretty. I have been holding off buying the kit solely because of price. I was looking for a short round or oval nail, not coffin, ballerina or any of those types. I do not want long nails. So, I finally did purchase the kit and the nails are not as short as I thought they would be, but the kit is awesome! I have had these nails on for about two weeks. I just took one off. They started lifting a little which is something all of the kits and nails I have purchases have done a lot sooner than this kit.
