  • Perfect, blacks out behind light filtering curtain
Size: 50"W x 92"L (Pack of 2) Color: Greyish White
These were perfect to put behind my non blackout curtains, there to be used behind a light filtering curtain that you want extra darkness from. Work great when used that way, easy to install

  • Hooks only. No rings. Not 100% blackout.
Size: 45"W x 88"L (Pack of 2) Color: Greyish White
First of all, I have curtains that use pleated hooks. I had purchased blackout liners for the bedroom before from Amazon and i actually wanted to buy the same liners for the living room, but they are no longer available, so i thought I would try these liners. The liners that I purchased before have integrated rings that I would hang onto the pleated hooks. Based on the video on the product page, I thought these liners would come and work with both rings and hooks, but it turns out these are "hook" style liners, not "ring" style. Since my curtains use pleated hooks, these hooks would work too. Basically, I would hook the liners onto the pleated hooks on my curtains. These liners work great in filtering out the sun., but it's not 100% blackout. I would say about 70-75%. With my translucent curtains, the combined blackout is about 85-95% on my east-facing windows depending on time of the day. Comparatively, the liners from a different manufacturer in my bedroom are 100% blackout. My curtains are 94" long and these 88" liners work perfectly, as the liners hang lower than the curtains, so they end up about 3-4" shorter than the curtains off the floor. The color is almost like a very light gray and I actually like it better than pure white as I have gray curtains. ... show more

  • Really love them for my needs, but not blackout
Size: 50"W x 80"L (Pack of 2) Color: Greyish White
Review of: KGORGE Blackout Curtain Liners - Sun Light/Heat Blocking Liner Drapes, Blackout Lined for L 84" Drapes Hang with Rings/Tab (1 Pair, 50" Wide by 80" Length, Grayish White, Free Rings Included) Color: Greyish White I'm pleasantly surprised by these curtains. They are very soft and feel like quality fabric. Real fabric. Not the plastic stuff so many other companies try to pass off as "fabric." They are weighty. The rings were fine for me to open and close, but yes, some of them are a little difficult only to close. I found that it was easiest to put them on the curtain tabs first, and I used a cloth on a table top to push them into when I closed the hard ones. Then I hung them on the rod. I used the single rod method, behind grommet topped curtains. You should take down your curtain, then put the curtains together and align the hanging holes, folding them back and forth together as you make your pleats, then slide the rod through all the holes at once. You do see them a little bit through the grommets, but really not that much, and I think you have to know to look for them to even notice. When I open my curtains in the morning, I just situate the curtains so the front curtain is covering this curtain in the back. I imagine I could put a few stitches or safety pins to attach the two together in a few places if I were so inclined. I don't think it's needed. My main curtains are also very flowy and I find they sit together and flow together quite well. I got the color Greyish White because I've done black backed curtains before and hated seeing the black when part of the curtain was flipping the wrong way. I also don't like the black from the outside of my home. The greyish white are more of a room darkening curtain, NOT a blackout curtain like they state. So we still see some light through the two curtains together, but it's not that much. It's worse in the morning when the sun is on that side of the house. These are in our family room so we can watch our TV without glare, and they work very well for that. If you need a completely black room to sleep, these are not what you want. At least not the color Greyish White. However, maybe they would work if you have really thick or room darkening curtains in front of these. I do love them, but will take one star off due to the inaccurate description of them being blackout. ... show more

  • blocks everything; great product at great price
Size: 50"W x 80"L (Pack of 2) Color: Greyish White
These liners are terrific - well made, easy to hang with my room-darkening grommet curtains; they block the light completely. And they are heavy - can't wait to see how much warmer my bedroom is at night in the winter; I expect they will do very well at keeping out the cold. They are soft and drape well; they arrived with a few 'fold' wrinkles but 5 minutes in the dryer on the steam setting cleared that up. I can't believe how cheap they were - the price, not the product. What a bargain. I already bought another set. ... show more

  • The difference is like night and day!
Size: 50"W x 59"L (Pack of 2) Color: Black
I work nights and would occasionally be awakened by the sun through my bedroom windows in the morning. My bedroom windows face west so, I get direct sunlight in the afternoon, but still, I was getting a lot of sunlight through the windows in the morning. These curtain liners are absolutely fantastic and they have no funny smell and are a nice heavy thick satiny material. They are much better quality than I had expected and included the rings to hang them. It took me all of ten minutes to have these set up. Now, there is just a tiny bit of light that comes through from the top of the curtain. My bedroom is so dark during the day now that I need to turn on lights to see and move around when the curtains are closed. I am sleeping so much better and as a side benefit, the sun doesn't warm up that side of the bedroom anymore during the summer days. Also, outside noises are definitely muffled with these, noticeably! I ordered liners that were the same size as my current curtains and they fit perfectly and you cannot see them at all. It just looks like I have nice light-blocking curtains. These curtain liners have made a huge difference in my sleep and I am really wondering why I didn't get them sooner. If you need to block sunlight just get them, and you will not be disappointed. I paid full price for these and wasn't "obligated"to write this review. ... show more

  • Black = Blackout, White = "Room Darkening" Black = Blackout, White = "Room Darkening"
Size: 50"W x 80"L (Pack of 2) Color: Black
I completely missed the description that mentioned the black color is much more effective than the white and initially ordered the white to go behind my bedroom curtains which themselves have no blackout/darkening effect. I'd equate the white to "room darkening" and if I were using them just for privacy at night I think they'd work just fine. We needed blackout curtains to completely block the light during the day due to night shift schedules so I returned the white and bought the black. Those are true blackout curtains and will work perfectly! The photos show what the curtains looked like pulled shut with the white liners vs black. I think the curtains are really high quality, especially for the price - thick, heavy material, very loose without that usual "stiffness" of blackout curtains, and using a liner that can go behind my normal curtains is a great long term investment to me. The price is also about half of what you'd pay for nice blackout panels at other stores. ... show more

  • Buy the black if you really need more light blocked
Size: 50"W x 80"L (Pack of 2) Color: Black
Our drapes have a liner and are sold as 100% blackout, but they're only room darkening. You can still see light coming through them. Since these are in the main bedroom and the window is on the east we need something that blocks the most light possible. I really like the drapes so I looked for a liner to add to them and found these. Our drapes are four panels - 2 navy and 2 white. I've tested a mix with the black and white liners. The black liner does block more light than the white liner. The black doesn't show through the white drapes (slight color difference/deepening but doesn't scream 'there's black behind this'). We're going with the black liners in the main bedroom. Have the same drapes for the guest room and will use the white liners in there as it doesn't get the morning sun in that room. ... show more

  • No blackout
Size: 45"W x 58"L (Pack of 2) Color: Greyish White
Look nice and they were easy to install behind our curtains. These are NOT blackout curtains. Lots of light still gets through, but dim enough for our need
