The media could not be loaded. Super thin and feels and looks like it’s just the key. Because it’s carbon fiber it’s incredibly rigid. Looks fantastic and factory / oem provided as it should when paired with a 160k car have this for all three Mercedes we own .

My fob cover arrived without any instructions inside the box (would have been nice to know exactly how to disassemble and use the adhesive stickers that were included). Placed my fob in the unit and felt a little movement and thought I should open the unit to use the adhesive felt pads to cushion the fob. Proceeded to try and open the shell and immediately scuffed the insert point (I did not have a spludger available so it was my own fault). The unit does feel good to the touch and unlike other reports I find that it is holding tightly together. One other issue as that when installed, the amount of material around the keyring whole is so much you cannot use a normal keyring with it (too thick). So be prepared to not be able to put it on your normal keychain without using an alternate means of connecting it.

Is it too expensive for what it is? Absolutely. Is it a perfect addition to your key? 100% Bought the car new, but the key was dropped along the way, so there is a small dent on the silver part of the key, so I started looking for a cover. This one feels OEM, closes perfectly and the kit comes with bits of felt to ensure that there is no rattling inside the case - LOVE it
